Eddie Liu, an artist, based in Shanghai, has created a short yet beautiful series that imagines how a few of our favorite superheroes might look like when they grow old.

Reinterpreting pop-culture characters can be a fun source of inspiration for artists. In Liu’s interpretation, the superheroes have lost some of their youthful sheens but retain all of their heroic majesties.
