South Korea’s popular messaging app, LINE, has collaborated with Malaysia-based e-commerce aggregation service, iPrice Group, to roll out LINE Shopping in Indonesia.

This partnership for LINE Shopping was after a funding round raised by iPrice Group from Naver last year. This new feature allows users to find deals on electronics, fashion as well as health and beauty products on the LINE Shopping tab in LINE Indonesia’s messaging mobile app.

This move is to improve user experience in using LINE Shopping. The e-commerce landscape in Indonesia is constantly evolving, and the company is always finding ways to enhance user experience. The partnership with iPrice Group whose aggregator format is on-trend and has a promising future in Indonesia, enables users to find the best products at the right price.

iPrice Group will be working hand-in-hand with LINE to provide updates and content for the feature. On a larger scale, iPrice Group’s meta-search platform curates more than 500 million products from hundreds of e-commerce merchants and marketplaces across seven major countries in Southeast Asia.

Currently, LINE Ventures and NAVER Corp, a South Korea’s leading search engine and parent company of the mobile messenger app, LINE, are direct investors of iPrice Group.
