The A-wing interceptor, which first came to be in the movie Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, gained a lot of love from the Star Wars fans after Commander Crynyd flew his damaged A-wing into the unshielded bridge, disabling it and crushing it into the gravity well of the Death Star II.

When most fans hear that LEGO will be releasing A-wing Starfighter Ultimate Collectors Series, they will be filled with joy, since most of them have been craving for it.

LEGO announced earlier today that the 1673-piece UCS (75275) is set to measure 42 cm long, 27 cm tall, and 26 cm wide, and it looks more of the same as the one we saw in the movie. Additionally, it comes with a miniFig of Commander Arvel Crynyd himself, and it includes a new-for-May-2020 removable canopy on the cockpit.

The Ultimate Collectors Series LEGO Star Wars A-Wing Starfighter will be in the market as from first May 2020, with an SRP of US US$199.99.  It follows an impressive run of Star Wars sets that had been announced for 2020, such as the Buildable Model Helmets series.

Singapore’s availability and the pricing of the product is still yet to be known. With COVID-19 still causing havoc across the world, it is not even clear if it will reach most of us on launch day. The only thing we can hope is things are going to get better in the coming days. May the Force be with us.
