Most of us have been left with no choice but spend time at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Netflix has been keeping us company with some great movies and TV shows, but some people are not fans of either and prefer video games.

Several games have been made free to keep people entertained, and Total War: Shogun 2 has become the latest game to allow people around the world to enjoy the game for free.  Sega observed that the last few weeks have been very challenging to most people, but on the light side, a lot of people have banded together to deal with COVID-19 pandemic.

The gaming company said, “With this in mind, we want to encourage you all to stay home and save lives by extending a gift to everyone to help make this difficult situation a little bit easier.”

The game will be made free on Steam as from today. You just have a few days grab this opportunity as the game will be free until May 1.

Total War: Shogun 2 is nine years old but don’t let this fact dampen your enthusiasm for the freebie because it remains one of the most loved games in the franchise.

The game is definitely worth grabbing, especially if you are into these kinds of games. Typically, it costs one US$29.99 or £24.99 on Steam.

You will be glad to hear that Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is currently free on Steam as well.
