The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the world in many ways, and movie production has not been left behind. The release date for many movies has been delayed, and recently we received news that MCU will be delaying Thor 4 and Doctor Strange, and Sony will delay the release of Spiderman into the Spider-Verse 2.

Doctor Strange sequel was expected in 2021, and now it has been pushed to 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder have been giving an early release, though. It has been moved from February 18, 2022, to February 11, 2022.

Now Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released on March 25, 2022, instead of the earlier scheduled date, which was May 11, 2021.

Other reshuffles by Disney are for untitled movies. An unnamed live-action film scheduled for March 25, 2022, has been canceled, and another one will be released on April 8, 2022.

An untitled 20th Century movie that was slated to be released on April 8, 2022, has been removed entirely. An unnamed Disney event film will now be released on July 9, 2021.

Into the Spider-Verse 2, which was scheduled for April 8, 2022, has been delayed to October 7, 2022. Spiderman 3 starring Tom Holland, which was expected to be released by Sony on July 16, has been delayed to November 5, 2021.
