After the PS5 event was postponed indefinitely last week, the event is now back on track. It is scheduled for live stream on June 11 at 1 PM Pacific Time. This information was revealed by a tweet on PlayStation’s official account, which stated that the event will live stream on Amazon’s Twitch and YouTube.

This event was originally planned to be held on June 4, but it was postponed indefinitely due to the ongoing protests against police violence and racism in the US and other parts of the world. PlayStation’s statement at the time indicated that the timing did not feel right to make announcements around the PS5 titles.

“While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time to celebrate and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard,” the statement said.

Sony has already shared quite a lot about PS5 system, but they still haven’t come clear about the launch titles for the console. Microsoft is also releasing its new console and as the two goes head-to-head, the question is whether PlayStation will maintain its edge in delivering exclusives that out-rival Xbox’s exclusives.

The live stream event will last for an hour and it will most certainly tee up what’s in store for next gen games.
