[output_post_excerpt]

Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 laptop lineup, featuring the latest processors from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA. The refreshed range includes innovative designs for the Strix series, powerful upgrades for the Zephyrus range, and the next-generation Flow Z13 tablet. Additionally, the XG Mobile external GPU now supports Thunderbolt 5, promising enhanced compatibility and performance.

The new ROG lineup includes Intel Core Ultra processors, AMD Ryzen chips, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, all designed to deliver exceptional speed and efficiency. NVIDIA’s RTX 50 Series GPUs, built on the Blackwell architecture, bring cutting-edge AI capabilities, including DLSS 4 for improved performance and NVIDIA NIM microservices for AI-powered workflows.

ROG Strix series sets new benchmarks in gaming performance

The 2025 ROG Strix series introduces redesigned models, including the Strix SCAR 16, Strix SCAR 18, Strix G16, and Strix G18. These laptops feature tool-less access to the bottom panel, allowing users to clean fans or upgrade RAM and storage with ease. Dual-layer ACR film technology reduces reflections by 55% and boosts contrast by 4.5 times, offering vibrant visuals and enhanced clarity during gaming.

Performance is driven by up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs, which handle demanding AI workloads and high-resolution gaming seamlessly. Strix laptops also feature Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processors, ensuring top-tier performance across the range. With up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB PCIe Gen 4 storage, these machines are ready for gaming and creative tasks.

Thermal performance has also been enhanced. Intel-based Strix models feature a sandwiched heatsink design with top and bottom fins, paired with liquid metal thermal compounds and extensive airflow systems. Meanwhile, AMD-based models utilise seven heat pipes and tri-fan cooling systems, ensuring consistent heat dissipation even during intense gaming sessions.

The 2025 ROG Flow Z13 takes portable gaming to the next level with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and RDNA 3.5 graphics. This chip offers desktop-level performance while maintaining exceptional power efficiency. With up to 128GB LPDDR5X RAM, the Flow Z13 dynamically allocates resources for optimal performance across gaming, content creation, and everyday tasks.

The cooling system has been upgraded with a stainless steel and copper vapor chamber, offering 54% more coverage on the mainboard. The tablet also features improved airflow design, keeping the device cool even during extended gaming sessions. The stunning 2.5K 180Hz ROG Nebula Display offers vibrant colours, sharp details, and 500 nits of brightness.

Connectivity remains a strong focus, with dual USB-C ports (USB4 compatible), HDMI, and a 200W charging port, ensuring flexibility for both gaming and productivity.

The Zephyrus G14 and G16 models have been upgraded with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processors, along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs. These laptops deliver exceptional gaming performance in a sleek, thin chassis, perfect for users who need power on the go.

Enhanced cooling systems, including improved heat pipe designs and 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans, make the Zephyrus series 23% more efficient than its predecessors. The ROG Nebula OLED displays on these models boast impressive resolution, with 3K on the G14 and 2.5K on the G16, combined with up to 240Hz refresh rates and NVIDIA G-SYNC support.

XG Mobile enters the next era with Thunderbolt 5

ROG’s XG Mobile external GPU has been redesigned for 2025, now supporting Thunderbolt 5 for greater compatibility and performance across devices. Available with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 or RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPUs, the XG Mobile transforms laptops into high-performance gaming rigs with a single cable connection.

The new design is smaller and lighter, making it easier to carry while still delivering excellent cooling efficiency through a stainless steel vapor chamber. With connectivity options including dual USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, Ethernet, and a UHS-II MicroSD card reader, the XG Mobile offers a true plug-and-play battlestation experience.

With its 2025 lineup, ROG continues to push the boundaries of gaming laptops, delivering cutting-edge technology and innovative design to meet the needs of gamers and creators.
