Working at Tech Edition
Tech Edition is an Asia-focused news and media platform covering enterprise technology, business, and gaming.
The publication delivers reporting, insights, and commentary on the companies, products, and trends shaping the region’s technology landscape. Its content is informed by independent perspectives from tech enthusiasts and business leaders, with a focus on relevance, clarity, and industry context.
Tech Edition also provides partners with media and content opportunities to reach engaged technology audiences across Asia.
Our culture
Tech Edition operates in a lean, editorially driven environment where strong ideas and solid execution carry weight. The team values initiative, clarity, adaptability, and a genuine interest in technology and media. It is a workplace for people who are comfortable working in a fast-moving setting, open to feedback, and motivated by producing work that is useful, relevant, and well-executed.
As a small and growing media platform, the work environment is hands-on. Team members are expected to think critically, take ownership of their responsibilities, and contribute across different parts of the content process when needed. There is room to experiment, learn, and build, but this sits alongside a strong expectation for professionalism, follow-through, and editorial judgement.
The culture suits people who are resourceful, curious, and able to balance creativity with discipline. It is especially well suited to those who want meaningful exposure to how a modern media platform operates across editorial, social content, audience growth, and commercial realities.
Our core values
Tech Edition is built on a simple editorial foundation. The platform aims to produce work that is credible, clear, and worth the reader’s time. These values shape how stories are chosen, how content is framed, and how the business engages audiences, partners, and the wider technology industry.
Editorial integrity
Credibility sits at the centre of the work. Coverage should be accurate, fair, and guided by editorial judgement rather than hype, access, or external pressure. Trust is built through consistency, discipline, and a clear standard.
Clarity with substance
Strong journalism should be both accessible and meaningful. The goal is to make technology, business, and industry developments easier to understand without flattening nuance or relying on oversimplification. Clarity is not just about style, it reflects how the publication thinks.
Independent perspective
The publication values original thinking and informed judgement. Coverage should add perspective, context, and relevance, rather than simply repeat announcements or follow noise. That independence helps keep the work useful to readers looking for more than surface-level reporting.
