Pearl Abyss announced today that Artifacts and Lightstones have been introduced in Black Desert SEA. Adventurers can now use these items to enjoy more strategic combat and life content.

Adventurers can start collecting the new equipment item, Artifacts, as well as Lightstones, that give Artifacts additional effects. These new additions will enable Adventurers to enjoy their gameplay through improved battle and life skills.

Unlike existing gear, Artifacts and Lightstones are designed to give Adventurers more diverse choices depending on their class and playstyle. Adventurers can equip up to two Artifacts with each having two exclusive slots for Lightstones. Each Lightstone has its own unique effect, allowing Adventurers to combine them in a certain way to generate additional effects.

Both Artifacts and Lightstones can be obtained through various content such as Dark Rifts, World Bosses, and Life content such as gathering. Lightstones can also be claimed by purifying Imperfect Lightstones obtained by defeating monsters.
