ASUS launches new AI-enhanced NUC series

ASUS unveils a new series of AI-enhanced NUC products, featuring cutting-edge capabilities for a diverse user base, including gamers and professionals.

ASUS introduced several AI-enabled NUC products, including the NUC 14 Pro, NUC 14 Pro+, ROG NUC, and NUC 14 Performance. These products cater to a broad audience, ranging from everyday consumers to professionals and gamers, demonstrating ASUS’s dedication to advancing technology with compact and efficient designs.

Advanced AI for diverse needs

The latest ASUS NUCs come equipped with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology designed to boost performance across various applications. The ROG NUC and NUC 14 Performance models are particularly noteworthy, boasting up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. These models are ideal for intense AI tasks and high-end gaming. The ROG NUC, with its 2.5-litre form factor, efficiently handles demanding AI workloads and AAA gaming. Conversely, the NUC 14 Performance is tailored for commercial and edge applications, supporting up to five simultaneous 4K displays.

Everyday AI integration for professional use

The NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ models are pivotal for integrating AI into daily tasks, making them essential for contemporary professional environments. Equipped with 10+ TOPS NPUs, these devices excel in daily computing tasks, significantly enhancing performance. The NUC 14 Pro, configured with an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, utilises its CPU cores, integrated NPU, and Arc GPU to improve AI workflows, delivering a 45% performance increase over its predecessor, the NUC 13 Pro. It also features the Intel vPro Enterprise platform, ensuring high-level performance, security, and manageability. The design focuses on ease of use, contained in a sub-0.5-litre chassis with toolless access for straightforward upgrades and maintenance.

Looking ahead to next-level AI

ASUS is set to push the limits of compact AI-enhanced computing with the forthcoming launch of the ‘Lunar Canyon’ model in September 2024. This next-generation AI mini PC, operating on the Intel Lunar Lake platform, will be housed in a sleek chassis smaller than 0.6 litres. With its sophisticated AI features, it aims to significantly advance the capabilities of compact computing devices, setting new standards for performance in a highly portable form factor.
