Avanade acquires Total eBiz Solutions to boost Southeast Asia expansion

Avanade acquires Total eBiz Solutions in Singapore, its first Southeast Asia deal, to expand AI and cloud services for mid-market and public clients.

Avanade has announced its first acquisition in Southeast Asia, confirming it will acquire Singapore-based IT services firm Total eBiz Solutions to strengthen its regional presence and accelerate digital transformation for mid-market and public sector clients.

Expanding capabilities in AI and cloud

Founded in 2003, Total eBiz Solutions has built a strong reputation for its expertise in AI, cloud, data, engineering, automation, and digital workplace solutions. Its portfolio includes a leading Contact Centre as a Service platform and generative AI-powered tools for knowledge search, service management, and digital campus experiences.

Following the acquisition, these offerings will be integrated into Avanade’s wider portfolio, which covers scalable managed services, infrastructure transformation, modern applications, Dynamics 365, and AI-powered security. Over 200 professionals from Total eBiz Solutions will join Avanade, bringing additional technical depth to the organisation.

“This acquisition will mark a pivotal moment in Avanade’s journey in Southeast Asia. Beyond enhancing our technical capabilities, it positions us to lead in helping mid-market organisations reimagine their business models, drive new growth, and stay ahead in a market that is evolving at extraordinary speed,” said Bhavya Kapoor, Avanade’s President for Asia Pacific.

Addressing mid-market challenges with AI adoption

Avanade research shows that mid-market leaders in Southeast Asia are increasingly prioritising AI. Most expect to step up investments in 2025, but many are struggling to translate experimentation into measurable value. Findings show that 44% of organisations remain stuck at the proof-of-concept stage, while 48% are still building business cases for AI adoption.

“Mid-market businesses in Southeast Asia are eager to embrace AI and cloud, yet many are still navigating the complexities of turning potential into measurable value. This acquisition creates a partner uniquely positioned to bridge that gap, helping organisations accelerate from pilots to real-world impact with the full power of Microsoft technologies,” said Mayank Wadhwa, President, Microsoft ASEAN.

For Avanade, the acquisition reflects a wider strategy of supporting mid-sized companies and public sector organisations, which are often under pressure to modernise quickly but face constraints in expertise, budget, and scalability.

Strengthening local partnerships and regional growth

Executives from both companies highlighted the potential to combine local strengths with global reach.

Radhakrishna Bijjala, Chief Executive Officer at Total eBiz Solutions, said: “Joining Avanade will be a natural next step for Total eBiz Solutions. This partnership lets us amplify our impact and offer clients global capabilities while maintaining the agile service they value. It also opens new growth and learning opportunities for our people.”

Megawaty Khie, Regional Managing Director for Avanade in Southeast Asia, added: “Southeast Asia’s fast-growing industries, from public services to manufacturing and education, are seeking digital reinvention to compete globally. Total eBiz Solutions’ strong local track record and industry solutions, combined with Avanade’s AI innovation, will help clients in the region tackle these opportunities with confidence and speed.”

Founded in 2000, Avanade has grown into a leading Microsoft-focused digital services provider. It has been recognised by clients, industry analysts, and ecosystem partners as Microsoft Partner of the Year, Leader in Microsoft Implementation Services, Best AI Consulting Service Provider, Top Employer, Great Place to Work, and one of the Best Workplaces in Asia.

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Completion remains subject to customary closing conditions.
