Crunchyroll brings anime magic to AFA Singapore 2025 with immersive experiences and special guests

Crunchyroll returns to AFA Singapore 2025 with panels, screenings, and interactive anime experiences featuring Fire Force, Demon Slayer, and more.

Crunchyroll is set to deliver an unforgettable experience for anime fans at Anime Festival Asia (AFA) Singapore 2025, taking place from 28 to 30 November at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre. The global anime brand will bring fan-favourite series such as Fire Force, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Lord of Mysteries to life through a mix of exclusive screenings, interactive games, and immersive exhibits.

The Crunchyroll booth will feature themed zones inspired by each anime, allowing visitors to step into their favourite worlds. At the heart of the experience is the brand’s signature tunnel, a dynamic, light-filled walkway connecting the various interactive spaces. Fans can also enjoy photo opportunities and games designed to capture the energy of each featured title.

This year marks Crunchyroll’s third consecutive appearance at AFA Singapore, reflecting its ongoing commitment to the anime community across Southeast Asia. The company will also serve as the official sponsor of the AFA Night Concerts throughout the three-day event, celebrating anime’s influence through music and live performances.

Fire Force panel and interactive challenge

One of the key highlights will be the Fire Force guest panel featuring Yusuke Kobayashi, the Japanese voice of Arthur Boyle. Fans can meet Kobayashi in person on 30 November, when he will host a fan meet and greet followed by a special panel session at 3 PM. The discussion will offer insights into his role and behind-the-scenes experiences from the hit anime series.

To complement the panel, Crunchyroll will host an interactive Fire Force booth challenge where participants can join Company 8 in a timed firefighting game using a custom LED setup. Winners will receive exclusive merchandise, including limited-edition L-shaped folders.

Exploring the world of Lord of Mysteries

Fans of Lord of Mysteries can look forward to an in-depth creator panel on 28 November at 2 PM at the AFA Day Stage. Director and producer Ke Xiong and chief screenwriter Liu Xing will discuss the creative process behind the series and share a glimpse of what lies ahead for the expanding Lord of Mysteries universe.

At Crunchyroll’s booth, visitors can also immerse themselves in the series’ steampunk-inspired setting through the “Praise the Fool” throne photo zone. This experience allows fans to symbolically “ascend as a Beyonder” while taking home a memorable photo from the event.

Exclusive screenings and Demon Slayer photo ops

Crunchyroll will host exclusive anime screenings on 28 November starting at 1:30 PM, offering fans a preview of upcoming Winter 2025 titles alongside popular series such as Lord of Mysteries and My Awkward Senpai. More details on the surprise Winter 2025 premiere will be revealed closer to the event.

Visitors can also take photos with life-sized inflatables of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba characters Tanjiro Kamado and Shinobu Kocho, adding to the festival’s lineup of engaging attractions.

With its diverse mix of panels, screenings, and fan activities, Crunchyroll’s presence at AFA Singapore 2025 promises to be one of the most anticipated highlights of the event, celebrating the creativity and passion that continue to fuel anime’s growing global appeal.
