Epson launches WorkForce Pro EM-C8100/C8101 multifunction printers in Singapore

Epson launches the WorkForce Pro EM-C8100/C8101 in Singapore, offering high-speed printing and eco-friendly features for modern offices.

Epson has unveiled its latest A3 colour multifunction printers, the WorkForce Pro EM-C8100 and EM-C8101, designed to support high-speed, high-volume printing in modern workplaces. These new models, available in Singapore from July 2025, feature Epson’s signature Heat-Free Technology and aim to offer an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional laser printers.

Meeting evolving workplace demands

The EM-C8100 and EM-C8101 are engineered to support fast-paced office environments. With print speeds of up to 26 images per minute and scan speeds of 64 ipm for simplex and 124 ipm for duplex, the models are built for productivity. Users can expand the paper capacity up to 1,900 sheets with additional cassettes, helping reduce interruptions. Each printer also supports high-yield ink packs, capable of printing up to 86,000 pages in black and 50,000 pages in colour, reducing the need for frequent ink replacements.

Epson designed the WorkForce Pro series with modern office workflows in mind. Its solutions suite includes tools such as Epson Connect, Epson Smart Panel, and Mopria Print Service, offering seamless mobile and cloud printing. Other features like IP Fax, document capture, and third-party software compatibility enhance day-to-day operations. For organisations with more advanced IT needs, Epson Print Admin supports secure PIN-protected printing and user authentication, while Epson Remote Services allows centralised monitoring and support across devices.

Supporting sustainable business goals

Sustainability remains a key differentiator in the new WorkForce Pro models. According to Epson, 34% of Southeast Asian decision-makers still mistakenly believe laser printers are more sustainable than inkjet models. With the EM-C8100 and EM-C8101, the company aims to challenge that perception.

Powered by Heat-Free Technology, the printers consume up to 85% less energy than comparable laser printers, leading to lower electricity bills and reduced CO2 emissions. The machines are also built using 30% recycled plastics and require fewer replacement parts, which translates to less waste and lower maintenance. Combined with high-yield ink packs, this results in a smaller overall carbon footprint.

Derek Tan, Head of Sales and Marketing at Epson Singapore, said, “The EM-C8100/C8101 is a testament to Epson’s dedication to combining performance with sustainability. We’re helping businesses future-proof their operations with printers that not only perform exceptionally, but contribute to a more sustainable tomorrow.”

Designed for hybrid work environments

As workplaces continue to evolve towards hybrid and remote setups, Epson has ensured the EM-C8100 and EM-C8101 offer the flexibility to integrate with both cloud and on-premises systems. From secure printing to efficient document handling, the printers are aimed at companies that require scalable solutions without compromising on print quality or environmental impact.

The printers are available in Singapore starting July 2025.
