Exabeam and Wiz join forces to enhance cloud security threat detection

Exabeam and Wiz team up to enhance cloud security with AI analytics and actionable insights, empowering organisations to combat growing cyber threats.

Exabeam, a global leader in cybersecurity known for its AI-driven security operations, has announced a partnership with cloud security leader Wiz to enhance threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) capabilities. The partnership, unveiled on 20 November in Singapore, focuses on creating a more secure and resilient cloud environment for organisations worldwide.

This collaboration integrates Exabeam’s advanced AI-powered analytics with Wiz’s detailed cloud security insights, addressing the pressing need for more robust defences against the growing number of cyberattacks targeting cloud infrastructures.

Steve Wilson, Chief Product Officer at Exabeam, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “as organisations embrace cloud environments, the surge in cyberattacks is unprecedented, and visibility alone is not enough. Exabeam and Wiz are coming together to deliver what has been a missing piece in enterprise security. By uniting cutting-edge cloud security intelligence from Wiz with AI-powered analytics from Exabeam, we are transforming how security teams defend against evolving threats. Together, we’re empowering enterprises with the unmatched ability to see and stop attacks before they escalate.”

Addressing new challenges in cloud security

As cloud adoption continues to rise, so do opportunities for cybercriminals to exploit new vulnerabilities. Gartner predicts that by 2027, investigations involving cloud or third-party infrastructure will account for more than two-thirds of all reported incidents. This alarming trend underscores the urgency for organisations to adopt integrated security solutions capable of providing comprehensive visibility and actionable intelligence across hybrid environments.

The integration with Wiz offers customers streamlined access to enhanced cloud security insights through Exabeam’s New-Scale Security Operations Platform. This platform supports a broad ecosystem of product integrations, enabling quicker time-to-value and more effective threat detection.

The collaboration brings several key benefits:

  • Comprehensive threat detection for streamlined investigations: The partnership connects Wiz’s in-depth cloud security insights with data from other tools within the Exabeam platform. This unified view allows security teams to identify attack patterns, prioritise threats, and track issue trends across both cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Rapid and guided cloud security intelligence: The integration includes a pre-configured Wiz tile in the Exabeam New-Scale Platform, which simplifies onboarding and accelerates access to critical insights. Full API documentation support ensures organisations can integrate the solution seamlessly into existing workflows.

Ryan Mednick, Senior Director of Cybersecurity and Trust at Dataminr, praised the partnership, saying, “the integration of comprehensive cloud security insights with AI-driven behavioural analytics will not only strengthen our defences but also streamline our security processes, enhancing our ability to safeguard both our data and customers.”

A commitment to simplicity and effectiveness

Oron Noha, Vice President of Product Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz, highlighted the shared vision of both companies to simplify and enhance cloud security, “our partnership with Exabeam aims to make cloud security more accessible and effective for our customers. By combining our capabilities with advanced threat detection tools from Exabeam, we’re giving security teams the ability to see potential risks more clearly and respond faster. This partnership ensures that organisations can better protect their cloud environments without adding complexity to their operations.”

By integrating their technologies, Exabeam and Wiz are poised to help organisations strengthen their cloud security frameworks, staying ahead of emerging threats. This partnership marks a significant step towards creating a more resilient cybersecurity landscape for enterprises navigating today’s complex cloud environments.
