GameSir launches special edition G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition wireless controller for Xbox, PC and Android
GameSir unveils the G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition, a premium Xbox-licensed controller blending advanced input tech with themed design.
GameSir has announced the launch of the GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition Wireless Controller, a special edition model developed in official collaboration with the action role-playing game Zenless Zone Zero. The controller is officially licensed for Xbox and designed to support Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC (Windows), and Android devices. It combines wireless and wired connectivity with a distinctive visual design inspired by the game’s New Eridu setting.
The G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition supports 2.4G wireless connectivity for Xbox consoles, alongside wired connections for PC and other compatible platforms. This dual approach is intended to offer flexible, low-latency play across different devices and usage scenarios. GameSir positions the controller as a premium option aimed at players who value competitive performance as well as themed aesthetics tied closely to the Zenless Zone Zero universe.
The special edition controller is priced at US$139.99 and £139.99. It is available through the GameSir website, Amazon US, and Amazon UK. The launch marks another step in GameSir’s strategy of pairing hardware innovation with high-profile gaming collaborations, targeting players who want both technical capability and visual distinction in their peripherals.
Competitive performance driven by next-generation controller technology
At the core of the G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition is GameSir’s Mag-Res TMR analogue stick technology. These magnetic-resistive sticks are positioned as an evolution beyond conventional Hall Effect designs. According to GameSir, the technology combines the precision and low power consumption typically associated with potentiometer-based sticks with the durability and stability offered by magnetic sensing. This hybrid approach is intended to deliver smoother movement, higher and more stable polling rates, and a long-term anti-drift experience suited to extended competitive play.
The controller also features Hall Effect analogue triggers, which provide smooth and linear input. This design is particularly relevant for genres such as racing games, shooters, and action titles, where precise trigger control can significantly affect gameplay. To further expand versatility, the triggers include integrated micro switch trigger stops. These allow players to instantly switch between full-range analogue input and a rapid digital response, adapting the controller to different game mechanics and personal playstyles.
Additional control flexibility is provided through four remappable buttons. These include two mini bumpers labelled R5 and L5, as well as two lockable back buttons labelled R4 and L4. The layout enables complex actions or macros to be executed with a single press, reducing the need for finger repositioning during fast-paced gameplay. GameSir has designed these buttons to be easily accessible while minimising accidental inputs.
Input responsiveness is further enhanced by the use of optical micro switch ABXY buttons and a mechanical micro switch D-pad. These components are intended to deliver crisp tactile feedback and consistent actuation over prolonged use. On PC, the controller supports an ultra-low-latency 1000 Hz polling rate via both wired and 2.4G wireless connections. This ensures that inputs are registered with minimal delay, a feature aimed squarely at competitive and esports-focused players. The controller is also compatible with previous G7 series designs, allowing users to expand customisation options using existing accessories.
Zenless Zone Zero design, customisation tools and immersive features
Beyond its performance credentials, the G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition places strong emphasis on visual identity and immersion. The controller features a translucent shell inspired by Bangboo and Phaethon elements from Zenless Zone Zero. This design choice reflects the futuristic tone of New Eridu and sets the controller apart from standard colourways typically seen in console peripherals.
The special edition package includes a range of exclusive accessories developed specifically for the collaboration. These include an interchangeable faceplate, Zenless Zone Zero-themed silicone thumbstick covers, swappable stick caps, a protective carry case, and a custom acrylic keychain. Together, these items allow users to personalise both the look and feel of the controller while reinforcing the connection to the game’s aesthetic.
Customisation extends beyond physical components through the updated GameSir Nexus software. The software provides access to advanced configuration options such as analogue stick dead zones, response curves, and range adjustments. Players can also fine-tune trigger dead zones and curves to match specific gameplay requirements. On PC, the software enables gyro configuration and button-to-mouse mapping, giving users deeper control over how inputs translate into in-game actions. These tools are designed to support a wide range of playstyles, from casual exploration to highly competitive scenarios.
Immersion is reinforced through the controller’s haptic and motion features. Four independent rumble motors are positioned in each grip and trigger, delivering detailed vibration feedback. This setup is intended to enhance in-game sensations such as impacts, explosions, and weapon fire. For PC users, a built-in 6-axis gyroscope adds another layer of interaction, allowing motion controls to be mapped to sticks, buttons, or mouse inputs for more intuitive control schemes.
Powering the controller is a built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery, designed to support extended gaming sessions. The controller is paired with a smart auto start-stop charging dock. Placing the controller on the dock automatically initiates charging, while lifting it prepares it instantly for use. The dock also includes a dedicated compartment for storing the wireless receiver, helping users keep their setups organised and ready for travel.
By combining advanced controller technology, extensive customisation options, and a distinctive Zenless Zone Zero-inspired design, the GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition positions itself as a premium accessory for players seeking both performance and visual identity. GameSir describes the controller as a companion built for exploration and combat alike, engineered to perform reliably across platforms while standing out as a collector’s piece within the Zenless Zone Zero universe.
