Imoo launches flagship Watch Phone X10 in Singapore for child safety and connectivity

Imoo launches Watch Phone X10 in Singapore, offering real-time calls, GPS tracking, and water resistance for safer, smarter child connectivity.

Imoo has officially launched its flagship Watch Phone X10 in Singapore, aiming to give parents peace of mind while encouraging healthy digital habits among children. The new device combines real-time communication, location tracking, health monitoring, and water resistance in a smartwatch designed specifically for young users.

With nearly a decade of research and development, imoo brings the X10 to local families as part of its mission to improve children’s lifestyles through technology. The brand’s focus on secure and child-friendly features positions the watch as both a communication tool and a digital companion for everyday life.

Designed for active families

The imoo Watch Phone X10 allows children to stay in touch with their parents via video and voice calls, even during outdoor activities or while swimming. The device features 20-metre water resistance, made possible through proprietary sealing technology, making it suitable for swimming lessons or playtime in the rain.

A standout feature is the flip and detachable dual camera, which includes a 5MP front lens and 8MP rear lens. Children can rotate and remove the watch face to capture photos and videos from unique angles. These moments can be easily shared with friends and family, encouraging creative play.

To support the Singapore government’s Grow Well SG initiative, which addresses excessive screen time and inactivity among children, the Watch Phone X10 includes features that promote physical movement. The built-in sports tracker monitors heart rate, exercise time, and calorie expenditure, turning daily fitness into a fun routine.

Keeping children safe and social

The watch is equipped with a Qualcomm 4100 chipset, multi-band global connectivity, and precise floor-level location tracking via the imoo app. Parents can see where their child is, how they are travelling, and receive alerts when they arrive at a destination.

The “Bump and Add Friends” feature enables children to connect with new friends by simply tapping their watches together, with parental approval required. This tool is intended to encourage safe social interaction in environments such as schools, parks, and community settings.

Privacy is a core focus. Imoo has developed a secure data encryption system in line with GDPR requirements, ensuring personal data is protected across the watch, the app, and the cloud. The imoo app is also recognised as a Trusted Privacy-certified platform.

Built for durability and reliability

Engineered to withstand the wear and tear of everyday use, the imoo Watch Phone X10 has passed more than 150 quality control tests, including 60,000 flips, 20,000 micro-drops, and 10,000 plug-and-pull actions. The device also features a stain-resistant coating, allowing easy cleaning after messy play.

Children can respond quickly to parents using the 1.6-inch OLED touchscreen. The device supports instant messaging alongside its calling features, and allows parents to toggle between front and rear cameras during video calls, offering a 360-degree view of their child’s environment.

Available from 6 June 2025, the imoo Watch Phone X10 can be purchased through the imoo Official Store in Singapore. The company, which has already reached over 50 million child users globally, aims to continue offering products that meet international safety and quality standards.
