Infor expands partnership with AWS to accelerate generative AI adoption

Infor strengthens partnership with AWS to deliver generative AI solutions across industries and boost global reach via AWS Marketplace.

Infor has announced an expanded Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at speeding up the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) across key industries. Building on over ten years of partnership, the new agreement brings Infor’s sector-specific cloud software together with AWS’s cloud and AI capabilities to drive co-developed innovations and reach more customers through the AWS Marketplace.

Bringing tailored AI solutions to industry

Infor, which focuses on business cloud software tailored to specific industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and food and beverage, will use the agreement to strengthen its AI-driven product offerings. The company is already making use of AWS’s generative AI services, including Amazon Bedrock, and plans to expand its delivery of industry-specific solutions across more than 2,000 micro verticals.

According to Infor, this deeper integration allows it to better address industry-specific challenges and improve operational efficiency through more precise and scalable AI tools. These solutions will be made more accessible via AWS Marketplace, enabling customers to simplify procurement and adopt AI at scale.

Jeanne Newberry, Senior Vice President, Ecosystems and Business Development at Infor, said, “Infor’s collaboration with AWS reinforces our dedication to helping businesses harness the power of generative AI. Our focus is to provide industry-specific cloud solutions across thousands of micro verticals globally that facilitate seamless digital transformation. This collaboration enhances our capacity to deliver superior, industry-specific technological advancements, such as agentic AI, to maximise our customers’ competitive differentiation.”

Expanding reach and accelerating adoption

Infor’s presence on AWS Marketplace has grown significantly, with a reported 900% increase in revenue from 2023 to 2024. The company also saw a 400% year-on-year increase in co-sell launched deals, highlighting a growing demand for joint solutions powered by AWS infrastructure and Infor’s sector-focused expertise.

Through AWS Marketplace, Infor is able to offer faster deployment of its Cloud ERP solutions, helping businesses reduce time to value while ensuring performance, security, and scalability. The partnership also supports global customers looking to fast-track their digital transformation journeys.

Elisabetta Venezia, Group Director of ERP System & Data Management at GMM Pfaudler, said, “The enhanced collaboration between Infor and AWS will be instrumental in driving innovation within our business. By leveraging Infor’s deep industry expertise and AWS’s advanced cloud and AI capabilities, we can access cutting-edge solutions that help us stay competitive in a fast-changing market. This collaboration empowers us to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, maintain good quality of data, and deliver better outcomes for our customers, ensuring we not only thrive today but are well-positioned for future growth.”

Proven success in a decade-long partnership

Infor has achieved six AWS Competencies as part of the collaboration, reflecting its ability to deliver innovative and reliable solutions using AWS technologies. These competencies, together with its rapid growth on AWS Marketplace and increased co-selling activities, point to a successful long-term partnership built on shared innovation goals.

Chris Grusz, Managing Director of Technology Partnerships at AWS, commented, “Over ten years of collaboration with Infor has proven that when AWS cloud capabilities meet specialised industry expertise, customers achieve remarkable outcomes. The 900% revenue growth in AWS Marketplace demonstrates the strong demand for Infor’s offerings on AWS. This Strategic Collaboration Agreement enhances our approach by integrating AWS’s generative AI technologies like Amazon Bedrock, enabling businesses across manufacturing, healthcare, and other industries to accelerate their digital transformation through AWS’s secure, scalable infrastructure.”

With this renewed focus, Infor aims to help customers adopt AI more confidently, providing industry-aligned digital tools that improve productivity, support growth, and future-proof operations.
