Dive into the treacherous world of 1900s Sicily in "Mafia: The Old Country," launching Summer 2025 with a new protagonist and an immersive Mafia saga.

The much-anticipated game “Mafia: The Old Country” was unveiled at The Game Awards, with a thrilling trailer that transported viewers to the perilous underworld of 1900s Sicily. This latest addition to the celebrated Mafia franchise is set for release in the summer of 2025 and is now available for fans to add to their wishlist.

Engaging new story and gameplay

This new chapter in the Mafia saga is a narrative-driven, linear game that plunges players into a meticulously crafted world of danger and duplicity. “Mafia: The Old Country” stands out with its visually stunning cinematic presentation and a storyline entrenched in the brutal realities of Mafia conflicts. Players will navigate through a complex combat system that emphasizes stealth and strategic gunplay, designed to offer an authentic and immersive experience.

Introducing Enzo, a protagonist with a past

At the centre of the story is Enzo, a character born into hardship, who rises from the depths of Sicily’s sulfur mines to become a formidable figure within the Mafia. Through a twist of fate, Enzo joins Don Torrisi’s crime family, learning that power comes with immense sacrifice. His story is one of resilience and allegiance to the family’s stringent code of honour, captured by the poignant phrase: Family Takes Sacrifice.

Nick Baynes, President of Hangar 13, shared his excitement about the game, stating, “Mafia: The Old Country is a love letter to old-style, gritty Mafia stories where players can uncover the origins of organized crime. Everyone at Hangar 13 is committed to creating the most authentic and intense story of the franchise, and we can’t wait for players to experience the journey with Enzo.”

Since its debut in 2002 with “Mafia,” the franchise has captivated audiences worldwide, selling over 35 million copies. Hangar 13 continues to delve deep into the Mafia lore, promising a gripping narrative that will engage both long-time fans and newcomers.
