Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 marks 10 years with focus on the next decade of finance

Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 celebrates its 10th year, spotlighting AI, tokenisation, and quantum technologies shaping global finance.

The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) will return from 12 to 14 November 2025 to mark its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of driving innovation in global finance. Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), and Constellar in collaboration with the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS), this year’s event will explore the “Technology Blueprint for the Next Decade of Finance”.

SFF 2025 will bring together more than 800 speakers across over 400 sessions, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and fireside chats. The discussions will focus on how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), tokenisation, and quantum computing are shaping the next phase of financial innovation and inclusion, particularly in emerging markets and the Global South.

Key themes include the responsible use of AI for smarter and more inclusive finance, the potential of tokenisation for faster and more secure financial transactions, and the use of central bank digital currencies, stablecoins, and tokenised deposits to strengthen financial trust and interoperability. Quantum technologies will also be highlighted for their potential to build resilient financial systems, while digital infrastructure initiatives aim to expand financial access for 1.4 billion unbanked people worldwide.

The festival will host over 500 sponsors and exhibitors across six halls, featuring more than 40 international pavilions. Visitors can expect stage programmes, networking lounges, and exhibitions showcasing the latest innovations across the global FinTech landscape.

New initiatives mark a decade of FinTech progress

In celebration of its 10th edition, SFF 2025 will introduce several new features. The SFF 10th Anniversary Gallery will present a visual timeline of FinTech milestones, while a “Time Capsule” will collect predictions and messages from participants to be revealed in 2035.

The Next Gen Leaders Programme will connect and empower young innovators and entrepreneurs shaping the future of finance. Meanwhile, the SME Sustainability Barometer 2025, developed by Gprnt in partnership with PwC, the Sustainability Alliance, and the Singapore Business Federation, will release its first report examining how small and medium-sized enterprises can access sustainable finance and grow responsibly. The event will also be livestreamed globally, allowing audiences to tune in to sessions from the Festival, FutureMatters, and Frontier stages.

Curtain raiser and pre-event highlights

Before the main conference, the Insights Forum will be held on 10 and 11 November at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. It will feature public-private roundtables across eight themes, a second edition of the Layer 1 Summit focusing on digital assets and AI infrastructure, and thematic sessions co-developed with industry partners.

Running alongside the forum is the Innovation Lab Crawl, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and pilot projects from 11 participating organisations across Singapore’s FinTech ecosystem. The showcase will offer participants a first-hand look at innovations transforming financial services.

Leaders emphasise collaboration and responsible innovation

Kenneth Gay, Chief FinTech Officer at MAS, said the festival’s tenth edition represents “a pivotal moment that will define the next decade of FinTech growth and transformation.” He added that the event would provide an opportunity for global leaders to collaborate and redefine how financial services are delivered.

Sopnendu Mohanty, Group Chief Executive Officer of GFTN, noted that SFF has demonstrated the power of aligning policy, finance, and technology to build a more inclusive financial system. He highlighted the importance of “harnessing AI responsibly, scaling tokenisation safely, and preparing for a quantum-ready future” in the decade ahead.

Constellar’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Chua Wee Phong, said the festival’s exhibition would bring frontier technologies to life through interactive experiences, including a new gamified engagement feature powered by Ant International’s Antom. He described the 10th edition as a “festivalisation of discovery, networking, and innovation”.
