Xiaomi expands AIoT lineup with smart personal devices and home appliances
Xiaomi launches new AIoT devices in Singapore, including smart audio glasses, a high-speed air purifier and an ultra-thin magnetic power bank.
Xiaomi has expanded its AIoT ecosystem in Singapore with the launch of several new personal and home devices, strengthening its push to connect everyday technology across lifestyle, wellness and mobility. Introduced alongside the REDMI Note 15 Series, the latest additions include the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max and the Xiaomi Ultra Thin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W. The products are now available locally through Xiaomi’s online platforms and retail partners.
The launch reflects Xiaomi’s broader strategy to extend its AIoT portfolio beyond smartphones into personal audio, indoor air management and portable power. By focusing on design-led form factors, improved energy efficiency and app-based control, the company aims to integrate smart hardware more seamlessly into daily routines, particularly for urban users with increasingly connected lifestyles.
Mijia Smart Audio Glasses combine open-ear audio with everyday eyewear
The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are positioned as a lifestyle accessory that merges open-ear audio technology with a conventional eyewear design. Integrated speakers and four built-in microphones allow users to listen to music or take calls while remaining aware of their surroundings, a feature intended for commuting and outdoor use. The audio system supports wind noise reduction at speeds of up to 4.5 m/s, helping to maintain call clarity in outdoor environments.
A dedicated privacy mode uses a customised audio algorithm to reduce sound leakage during calls, addressing concerns around discretion in shared or professional spaces. The glasses are available in three frame styles: Titanium, Pilot-Style and Browline. All variants support prescription lens replacement. The Titanium and Browline options include blue light protection of up to 25 percent, while the Pilot-Style model features UV400 sunglasses lenses that block up to 99.99 percent of ultraviolet light.

Design and durability are central to the product. The Titanium version weighs 27.6 g without lenses, while all models use reinforced hinges designed to withstand up to 15,000 flexes. An IP54 rating provides resistance against dust and light splashes. Battery placement within the temples enables a slim profile of around 5 mm at the narrowest point, reducing pressure on the ears during extended wear. Xiaomi states that the glasses deliver up to 13 hours of continuous music playback on a full charge, with a 10-minute fast charge providing around four hours of use.
Control and customisation are managed through the Xiaomi Glasses app, which allows users to configure touch gestures, activate a smartphone’s voice assistant, locate misplaced glasses and manage audio recording features. Dual-device connectivity also enables seamless switching between a smartphone and a laptop, supporting both work and entertainment scenarios.
Smart air purification and ultra-thin portable charging expand the ecosystem
For the home, Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max, designed for rapid and comprehensive indoor air purification. Using a dual-impeller and dual-filter structure, the device delivers a particle CADR of 1006.5 m³/h and is capable of purifying a 10 m² room in approximately 1.6 minutes under test conditions. Its four-stage purification system combines a primary filter, high-efficiency filter, premium carbon layer and UVC sterilisation.
The purifier targets common indoor pollutants such as pollen, pet dander, dust mites and mould allergens. Each filter contains 300,000 mg of premium carbon, enabling up to 99 percent removal of formaldehyde, toluene and other harmful gases, as well as household odours from pets and smoke. Dual UVC modules provide continuous ultraviolet disinfection, removing up to 99.9 percent of bacteria and viruses, including H1N1, E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, within one hour. Six built-in sensors monitor particulate matter, temperature, humidity and formaldehyde levels, giving users real-time visibility into indoor air quality.
Also launched is the Xiaomi Ultra Thin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, which focuses on portability while maintaining practical capacity. Weighing under 100 g, it is among the slimmest magnetic power banks in its category. The device uses a high energy-density silicon carbon anode battery with 16 percent silicon content, combined with a large graphite sheet to achieve a 5000 mAh capacity. The battery is designed to retain more than 80 percent capacity after 1,600 charging cycles.
The power bank supports up to 15 W wireless charging, 22.5 W wired charging and simultaneous wired and wireless output. Ten layers of safety protection are built in to guard against issues such as overcharging, over-discharging and electrostatic discharge. The device will be available in a Silver colour variant.
The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are priced at S$249 for the Browline and Pilot-Style models, and S$289 for the Titanium version. The Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max is priced at S$549. The Xiaomi Ultra Thin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W retails at S$69.90, with a promotional price of S$65.90 from 15 to 21 January. All products go on sale from 15 January at 7:00 PM through mi.com, Xiaomi Stores and official online partners.
