Alteryx launches unified platform to streamline enterprise analytics and AI orchestration

Alteryx One unifies analytics and AI tools, offering real-time data access, governance, and automation for enterprise-wide use.

Alteryx has introduced Alteryx One, a new unified platform designed to automate and scale data analytics across cloud environments. Alteryx One combines the company’s existing suite of tools with several new features aimed at helping enterprises gain faster, more secure access to data, simplify AI orchestration, and maintain strong governance controls.

With this release, Alteryx seeks to remove the traditional compromises businesses face when balancing flexibility, governance, and innovation in their analytics workflows. The platform integrates analytics automation, low-code/no-code data preparation, AI tools, and enterprise governance into a single interface that can be centrally managed across any deployment model.

A centralised platform for scalable AI-powered analytics

At the core of Alteryx One is a new centralised portal that allows businesses to manage their entire Alteryx ecosystem from a single location. The platform includes an AI Control Centre, which offers centralised orchestration capabilities including licensing, built-in security, governance settings, and visibility over all AI interactions—such as those involving large language models (LLMs).

Ben Canning, Chief Product Officer at Alteryx, described the launch as a major leap towards making analytics more accessible, collaborative, and intelligent. “The future of AI-powered analytics is about choice and connection. Alteryx One empowers organisations with the flexibility to access analytics in any way they need and to help ensure their data is AI-ready. This release is built to help organisations scale insights, automate intelligently, and stay ahead of AI, on their own terms,” he said.

Alteryx One also introduces tiered packaging and a unified licensing portal, offering IT departments better control over user access and license management. This setup supports secure, enterprise-wide analytics deployments.

Enhanced access to cloud data platforms

As businesses continue to migrate data to the cloud, Alteryx One addresses the growing need for real-time, secure access without the cost and complexity of data replication. The platform now supports expanded data connectivity, making cloud environments a seamless extension of the analytics workflow.

Features such as Live Query enable real-time access to data stored on platforms like Databricks and Snowflake, allowing users to work directly with large datasets while preserving performance and security. Pre- and post-SQL support for in-database tools also enhances the ability to run complex queries within data warehouses.

To support IT teams, Alteryx One allows shared connectors and plans that enable reusable, secure connections to cloud data sources. The platform now offers improved integration with services such as Azure Synapse, Qlik, and Starburst, and includes enhancements to cloud pushdown processing, allowing for faster analytics with lower infrastructure costs.

Preparing trusted data for AI at scale

Alteryx One is already being used by companies like Siemens Energy to extract, prepare, and blend large volumes of data in preparation for AI adoption. By integrating with data platforms and LLMs, Siemens Energy developed an AI chatbot capable of querying extensive document repositories—an example of how businesses can democratise access to data and drive real operational impact.

“With Alteryx and our citizen development approach, we are increasing our digital capabilities and providing vital data access to people who didn’t have it before — at scale, rapidly, sustainably, and with real operational impact across multiple use cases,” said Tim Kessler, Head of Data, Models & Analytics at Siemens Energy.

In Singapore, recent survey data from Alteryx showed that 93% of analysts said their work helps identify cost efficiencies and improve financial planning. However, nearly half (46%) reported that data quality remains a major challenge, particularly as more data shifts to the cloud. These issues continue to delay the preparation of data needed for effective AI and analytics applications.

To help overcome these barriers, Alteryx One introduces several new capabilities. Magic Reports, now generally available, lets users generate customised reports within Auto Insights using AI, cutting down the time spent on manual reporting. Alteryx Copilot, currently in public preview, serves as an AI assistant that can recommend tools, answer questions, and generate workflows in real time. In private preview, GenAI Tools offer embedded generative AI capabilities to automate complex tasks and orchestrate logic using enterprise-approved LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.

These enhancements reflect Alteryx’s broader goal of making analytics and AI more accessible and impactful across all levels of an organisation.
