AMD partners with Dell to launch first commercial PCs powered by Ryzen AI PRO processors

AMD partners with Dell to launch the first commercial PCs powered by Ryzen AI PRO processors, advancing AI-driven enterprise performance.

AMD has announced a significant partnership with Dell to launch the first Dell commercial PCs powered by AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors. Revealed ahead of CES 2025 in Las Vegas, this collaboration marks a major step in advancing AI-powered computing solutions for businesses.

Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Computing and Graphics Group, said, “We’re incredibly proud to collaborate with Dell on the next generation of commercial PCs powered by the AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors. Ryzen AI PRO CPUs are built to handle today’s workflows and tomorrow’s AI demands, and when combined with the power of a Dell PC, they create the perfect combination for the enterprise.”

Sam Burd, President of Dell Technologies’ Client Solutions Group, added, “AI PCs represent the next frontier in computing, transforming how we work, create, and connect. This progress depends on cutting-edge silicon innovation, which is why we’ve worked to engineer AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors into our new Dell Pro portfolio.”

Advanced AI capabilities and enterprise performance

The third-generation AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors bring improved efficiency, enhanced security, and seamless AI-driven features to enterprise devices. With support for Copilot+ features, these processors offer advanced capabilities such as live captioning, language translation during conference calls, and powerful AI image generation tools.

In addition to performance, AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors are built with AMD PRO Technologies, providing advanced security and streamlined manageability. These technologies are designed to simplify IT operations, maximise business ROI, and deliver robust protection for sensitive corporate data.

The Dell Pro portfolio will now include both notebooks and desktops equipped with AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors. These devices are designed to deliver long-lasting battery life, on-device AI performance, and exceptional productivity, whether in the office, at home, or on the go.

Building on a history of innovation

AMD and Dell have a long-standing partnership aimed at delivering high-performance computing solutions for enterprises. AMD Threadripper PRO processors have already powered Dell workstations, supporting creators, engineers, and designers in managing complex workflows and demanding tasks. Similarly, AMD EPYC CPUs have been used in Dell PowerEdge servers, driving workloads in data centres and AI environments.

This latest collaboration further cements their shared commitment to advancing enterprise technology. With AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors at the core, Dell’s new lineup is set to address the growing demands of AI-powered business solutions, offering both reliability and innovation.
