ASUS launches ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, a portable monitor with dual OLED displays

ASUS unveils the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, a portable dual-screen monitor with OLED technology, delivering stunning visuals and flexible work setups.

ASUS has announced the launch of the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, a portable monitor featuring two 14-inch OLED displays designed to enhance productivity and entertainment. Each panel boasts a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing more onscreen space than a standard 20-inch display. The OLED technology delivers sharp, vibrant visuals, making it an ideal choice for professionals and creatives who need high-quality displays on the go.

The ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is built for portability and flexibility, weighing only 1.07kg and folding neatly into a compact form. Its 360-degree hinge and integrated kickstand allow users to set it up in multiple positions, making it easy to adapt to different work scenarios. The monitor also features a Tent mode, where the screens face opposite directions, making it perfect for one-on-one presentations and content sharing.

A workspace that adapts to different needs

This portable dual-screen monitor offers four different display modes to support a variety of tasks. In Extend mode, users can expand their laptop’s screen space, making multitasking across two displays seamless. Split mode stacks content in a continuous, waterfall-style layout, which is especially useful for working with long documents or coding. Independent mode allows users to assign different inputs to each screen, making it possible to work across multiple devices at the same time. Meanwhile, Mirror mode is designed for presentations, displaying the same content on both screens for easy sharing.

The ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is designed for ergonomic comfort. With an integrated fold-out kickstand and a standard tripod mount, users can adjust the monitor to their preferred viewing height and angle. The ASUS DisplayWidget Center software also enhances usability by enabling auto-rotation, which automatically switches content between landscape and portrait modes, depending on the setup.

Stunning OLED display with true-to-life colours

The OLED panels on the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD provide exceptional colour accuracy and vibrant visuals, making it an excellent choice for professionals in creative fields such as graphic design, video editing, and photography. It features a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and Delta E <2 colour accuracy, ensuring precise and natural-looking colours.

The DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification enhances contrast, delivering deep blacks and bright highlights. With a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, the monitor ensures that even the darkest scenes are crisp and detailed. Additionally, its high perceptual brightness allows for clear visibility in different lighting conditions, making it suitable for both professional work and entertainment.

Seamless connectivity and environmentally friendly packaging

The ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is designed for effortless connectivity, requiring just a single USB-C connection to power and transmit video to both screens. This plug-and-play convenience reduces cable clutter, making it an excellent choice for mobile work setups. In addition to its two USB-C ports, the monitor also includes a mini-HDMI port, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

ASUS has also prioritised sustainability with this model. The ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is ENERGY STAR certified, guaranteeing energy-efficient performance. Additionally, the packaging is made from FSC-certified materials, reducing environmental impact while maintaining durability during shipping.

Availability and pricing

The ASUS ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD will be available in Singapore from mid-March 2025, priced at S$799.
