Blaize and Datacomm outline AI inference alliance for Indonesia market
Blaize and Datacomm sign MOU to explore AI inference solutions in Indonesia across cloud, infrastructure, and industrial use cases.
Blaize Holdings and PT Datacomm Diangraha have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore AI inference solutions in Indonesia, focusing on enterprise and public sector use cases. The agreement establishes a non-binding framework for collaboration, with both companies assessing opportunities across cloud, infrastructure, and application deployment.

The MOU was signed during Gitex Asia 2026 in Singapore. It sets out an initial direction for joint exploration rather than a confirmed rollout, with specific projects subject to future agreements.
Focus on inference and infrastructure integration
The alliance centres on combining Blaize’s AI computing platform with Datacomm’s DCloud public cloud and datacentre infrastructure. The companies intend to evaluate how this integration could support scalable AI inference services for enterprise customers in Indonesia.
Planned areas of exploration include inference-as-a-service, as well as applications in physical AI, public safety, surveillance, logistics, and industrial environments. These use cases point to deployment scenarios that rely on real-time processing, such as video analytics, smart monitoring systems, and sensor-driven automation.
Industrial applications form a separate track, with both parties looking at computer vision and sensor-based systems for automation. This suggests a focus on operational environments where AI inference is embedded directly into physical systems rather than centralised in cloud-only models.
Positioning around Indonesia’s AI growth
The collaboration is framed against Indonesia’s expanding AI market. The source cites projections that sovereign AI could contribute up to US$140 billion to GDP by 2030, alongside annual growth of up to 6.8%. The country’s AI sector is also reported to be growing at a 31% compound annual rate.
Dinakar Munagala, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blaize, said: “Asia Pacific is at an inflection point for AI inference, and Indonesia stands out as one of the region’s most significant contributors to that growth. Datacomm brings exactly the trusted, deeply embedded infrastructure presence and enterprise relationships this market requires. Together, we are exploring how Blaize’s programmable, energy-efficient AI platform can unlock real-world value across public safety, smart infrastructure, physical AI, and logistics throughout Indonesia. This alliance is a strong foundation, and we intend to build on it.”
Tan Wie Tjin, President Director and Founder of PT Datacomm Diangraha, added: “Indonesia is on the cusp of a significant AI transformation, and the demand for intelligent, scalable, and secure inference solutions is accelerating across every sector we serve. This alliance with Blaize is a natural and exciting step in our journey toward the AI era. The combination of Datacomm’s cloud and datacenter infrastructure with Blaize’s world-class AI inference platform positions us uniquely to serve this demand. I look forward to exploring the possibilities this technology alliance will unlock for our customers and for Indonesia’s digital future.”
Early-stage agreement with defined scope
The MOU remains exploratory and does not commit either party to specific deployments. It outlines a cooperative approach to developing AI inference capabilities that can operate across cloud, datacentre, and physical environments.
Both companies have indicated that any implementation will prioritise secure, scalable, and energy-efficient deployment models. Further progress will depend on follow-on agreements tied to specific projects or customer engagements.
