CMF launches CMF Phone 2 Pro and Buds 2 in Singapore

CMF by Nothing unveils CMF Phone 2 Pro and Buds 2 in Singapore, with upgraded design, performance and new features starting 22 May.

CMF, the sub-brand of London-based tech company Nothing, has officially launched its second-generation smartphone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, alongside the new CMF Buds 2. The products were unveiled on 21 May, with open sales for selected variants beginning on 22 May in Singapore.

A thinner, brighter and more powerful CMF smartphone

The CMF Phone 2 Pro introduces several upgrades over its predecessor, featuring a sleeker design, improved camera system, and enhanced display performance. At 7.8 mm thick and weighing just 185 g, it is the thinnest and lightest phone that Nothing has released to date—5% slimmer than the original CMF Phone 1.

The device is built with a refined aluminium camera surround, stainless steel screws, and a more durable IP54 rating for water resistance, an improvement from the IP52 rating of its predecessor. Four colour variants are available: White, Black, Orange, and Light Green. Each comes with a unique finish, ranging from frosted glass-like textures to sandstone and metallic sheens, offering a more sophisticated feel than the first-generation design.

The display has also been significantly enhanced. The 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED screen delivers over one billion colours and a peak brightness of 3000 nits, 50% higher than the previous model. The screen also features a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 1000 Hz touch sampling rate, providing fast, smooth interactions.

Upgraded camera and performance features

The CMF Phone 2 Pro includes a four-camera system led by a 50 MP main camera with the largest sensor size in its class, which captures 64% more light than the earlier model. It is accompanied by an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 16 MP front-facing camera for selfies, and a segment-first telephoto lens capable of 20x digital zoom using a 6-stack lens setup.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G processor, which uses an 8-core CPU and TSMC’s 4 nm process technology to deliver up to 2.5 GHz speeds. According to the brand, this results in a 10% improvement in processing and a 5% boost in graphics performance compared to the previous model.

Battery life is also extended, with a 5000 mAh battery that supports up to two days of use on a full charge—lasting nearly an hour longer than the CMF Phone 1.

Additional features include modular compatibility with accessories such as a Universal Cover, Interchangeable Lenses (Fisheye and Macro), and a Wallet/Stand. The phone also adds NFC support for contactless payments, a notable upgrade from the previous version.

Buds 2 bring immersive audio to daily use

CMF also launched its new CMF Buds 2, designed to offer high-quality audio with a balance of comfort and smart functionality. The earbuds feature 48 dB hybrid active noise cancellation, Spatial Audio Effect, and Dirac Opteo tuning, aiming to provide clearer, more dynamic sound for everyday listening.

The Buds 2 are available in three colourways: Dark Grey, Light Green, and Orange.

Pricing and availability

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is priced at S$399 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It is available in White, Black, and Orange. The White and Black models will be available from 22 May, while the Orange variant will go on sale from July.

The CMF Buds 2 are priced at S$89. All items can be purchased via Nothing.tech and authorised retail partners. Customers who buy the CMF Phone 2 Pro during the open sales period will receive a complimentary pair of CMF Buds and a one-year extended warranty.
