Crunchyroll brings Chainsaw Man and Ani-May activities to AFA Thailand 2026
Crunchyroll will bring Chainsaw Man, Ani-May activities, localised viewing zones, and outdoor activations to AFA Thailand 2026.
Crunchyroll will bring a mix of anime experiences, guest appearances, localised viewing zones, and city-wide outdoor activations to Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026.
Table Of Content
The company’s booth will run on 30 and 31 May 2026 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. Located at booth E01, the space will include a Chainsaw Man experience, an Ani-May stamp rally, a Thai-subtitled and Thai-dubbed watch zone, and a guest appearance by Kikunosuke Toya, the Japanese voice actor behind Denji.
Chainsaw Man leads the booth experience
Chainsaw Man will anchor Crunchyroll’s presence at AFA Thailand 2026 through an immersive experience inspired by the series. Fans will be able to visit The Crossroads Café-inspired photospace, which recreates a quieter setting tied to Denji’s world.
The booth will also feature a life-sized Pochita mascot in Thailand for the first time. Visitors attending the meet-and-greet will receive an exclusive Pochita sticker sheet. Crunchyroll is also tying the activation to Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which is available to stream exclusively on the platform ahead of the event.
Kikunosuke Toya will appear at the event for an exclusive guest panel, followed by a fan meet-and-greet. The session will cover his work voicing Denji, key moments from the series, and live interactions with fans. Crunchyroll described the appearance as one of the few opportunities for fans in Thailand to meet the Japanese voice cast of Chainsaw Man in person.
Ani-May activities add interactive elements
Crunchyroll will also use AFA Thailand 2026 to extend its global Ani-May celebration through a stamp rally across its booth. The format will allow visitors to complete anime-themed challenges, collect stamps, and redeem exclusive rewards.
The activities include the BLUE LOCK Football Challenge, which tests precision and reflexes, the Solo Leveling Fitness Challenge, and an Attack on Titan Doodle Wall where fans can leave drawings and messages. The challenges are designed as hands-on booth activities rather than passive displays, giving fans multiple points of interaction across the space.
A separate Thai-subtitled and Thai-dubbed watch zone will showcase localised anime content. The viewing area is intended as a communal space for Thai audiences to discover titles available in their preferred format.
Fans who complete the stamp rally and join social activities at the booth can receive event merchandise, including BLUE LOCK stickers, Solo Leveling stickers, Crunchyroll foldable reusable bags, and Chainsaw Man headbands.
Bangkok outdoor campaign runs before the event
Crunchyroll will also run out-of-home visuals across key CBD areas in Bangkok from 16 to 31 May. The campaign will feature Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc and other fan-favourite titles in the lead-up to AFA Thailand 2026.
The outdoor campaign extends the event beyond the convention venue and places Crunchyroll’s anime titles across everyday public spaces in Bangkok. It also supports the company’s physical presence at the event, which combines game zones, watch areas, character-themed spaces, and guest programming.
Crunchyroll’s Thailand library now includes more than 500 titles, including Liar Game, Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 5, and Ascendance of a Bookworm. The platform also offers more than 70 Thai-dubbed titles and over 300 Thai-subtitled titles, expanding its localised catalogue for audiences in Thailand.
