Crunchyroll Game Vault adds six new titles to its mobile library this summer

Crunchyroll adds six exclusive mobile games to its Game Vault this summer, expanding its anime-inspired library for Premium members.

Crunchyroll has announced a major expansion of its Game Vault, with six new exclusive titles arriving on mobile for Premium Mega and Ultimate Fan members. This update broadens the platform’s anime-inspired game collection, offering fans more ways to enjoy their favourite franchises without added cost.

Six mobile games joining the vault

Leading the rollout is Pub Encounter, a romantic visual novel that invites players into an old-fashioned pub where they can form relationships with a cast of middle-aged men. The mobile version launched globally on 9 July.

Coming later this summer is Phantom Breaker: Ultimate Battle Grounds, a pixel-styled beat ’em up set in Tokyo. Players will join four fierce fighters as they battle through the streets to rescue a kidnapped friend while stopping an interdimensional threat. The remastered mobile edition preserves the game’s signature anime aesthetic and fast-paced action.

Other titles now open for pre-registration include Metal Slug Tactics, Shin chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation, Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol. 1, and Two Strikes. These additions offer a variety of gameplay experiences, from tactical strategy and nostalgic exploration to samurai-style combat and story-driven espionage.

Metal Slug Tactics brings a new dimension to the classic run-and-gun series, with players navigating grid-based battlefields using familiar characters such as Marco, Tarma, Fio, and Eri. The game offers pixel art visuals, roguelite mechanics, and turn-based combat, and will be available in multiple languages including English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish (Spain).

Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol. 1 is a kinetic visual novel set in a world of covert missions. Created by character artist Akio Watanabe and writer Ryuta Fujisaki, it presents a new cast and storyline, now accessible to iOS users.

Meanwhile, Shin chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation lets players step into the world of Shinnosuke Nohara. The game features a heartfelt story filled with countryside nostalgia, strange encounters, and the lazy joy of childhood summers. It will be available in English, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Spain), and Dutch.

Two Strikes is a stylised 2D fighting game built around precision. Every duel is determined by a single well-timed strike. The hand-drawn visuals are inspired by traditional Japanese art, and the game supports a wide range of languages, including Italian and both Latin American and European Spanish.

Crunchyroll continues its push into gaming

Crunchyroll Game Vault first launched in November 2023 and now features over 60 exclusive titles, including River City Girls, Moonstone Island, and Crypt of the Necrodancer. These games are available only to Crunchyroll Premium Mega and Ultimate Fan members in over 200 countries and territories.

In addition to the new announcements, Classroom of the Elite – Merge Puzzle Special Exam recently made its global debut in English. Previously released only in Japan, the mobile game is now fully localised and playable without microtransactions as part of the Game Vault offering.

According to Crunchyroll, “Game Vault is designed to give fans more ways to engage with anime and anime-inspired worlds beyond the screen.” Subscribers gain access to both an expanding collection of mobile games and over 25,000 hours of anime content.
