Devialet Gemini II arrives in two new finishes for portable high-end listening
Devialet adds Light Pearl and Deep Forest finishes to Gemini II earbuds, pairing adaptive noise cancellation with premium portable sound.
Devialet has expanded its Gemini II true wireless earbuds range with two new finishes, Light Pearl and Deep Forest, as the company continues to position its portable audio products alongside its high-end home systems. The new colourways extend Devialet’s established design language into a more personal and mobile form, while retaining the same acoustic performance as the existing Gemini II.
The two finishes take visual cues from Devialet’s recent Phantom Ultimate launch, reinforcing the brand’s view that industrial design and sound engineering should evolve together. Light Pearl introduces a softer, luminous look with a sculptural quality, while Deep Forest adopts a darker, more understated aesthetic intended to convey discretion and longevity. Despite the refreshed appearance, the earbuds maintain the same internal design and tuning that define the Gemini II range.
By introducing new finishes rather than changing hardware specifications, Devialet is emphasising personal expression and lifestyle alignment. The approach reflects a strategy of offering choice in design while keeping performance consistent across the product line, positioning the Gemini II as a premium everyday listening device rather than a niche accessory.
Adaptive sound design focused on immersion and balance
At the core of the Devialet Gemini II is a sound profile tuned to feel natural and immersive, with an emphasis on balance across frequencies. Bass is engineered to be deep yet controlled, while vocals are placed clearly at the centre of the soundstage. Fine details are preserved without sounding harsh, allowing subtle textures and spatial elements in music to come through more clearly.
A central feature of this experience is Devialet’s Adaptive Noise Cancellation technology, which adjusts continuously in real time. Instead of relying on a fixed level of noise reduction, the system responds to both the fit of the earbuds in the ears and changes in the surrounding environment. This allows unwanted noise to be reduced without compromising sound quality, creating a more consistent listening experience across different settings.
Supporting this system are advanced microphones and proprietary signal processing technologies designed to minimise distortion and reduce high-frequency noise. These processes operate in the background, ensuring that audio remains stable and clear even as external conditions shift. The result is intended to be a calm and intimate listening space that feels uninterrupted, whether used at home or on the move.
Designed for everyday use and long listening sessions
Beyond music playback, the Devialet Gemini II is designed to adapt to everyday use. A transparency mode allows surrounding sounds to pass through naturally without removing the earbuds, making it easier for users to stay aware of their environment. This is positioned as a practical feature for urban settings or shared spaces where situational awareness matters.
For voice calls, the earbuds combine multiple microphones with bone-conduction sensors that detect vocal vibrations directly. This setup is intended to improve call clarity in challenging conditions such as windy outdoor environments or noisy public areas. By isolating the user’s voice more effectively, conversations can remain clear without requiring raised voices or repeated speech.
Physically, the Gemini II remains compact and lightweight, with an ergonomic design aimed at comfort during extended listening sessions. Touch controls are customisable, allowing users to manage playback and settings directly from the earbuds. Bluetooth multipoint support enables seamless switching between two connected devices, such as a smartphone and a laptop, reflecting the realities of multi-device use.
Battery performance is designed for long days on the move, with up to 22 hours of listening time when used with the charging case. With the introduction of the Light Pearl and Deep Forest finishes, Devialet is extending its signature acoustic philosophy into a more personal form, aligning its portable audio products with the design language of its home audio systems while adapting to individual lifestyles.
The Devialet Gemini II in Light Pearl and Deep Forest will be available from 27 January 2026 at Devialet boutiques, on devialet.com, and through authorised retailers, priced at S$499.
