Honkai: Star Rail unveils Greek-inspired world in Version 3.0, launching January 15

Dive into Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.0 on January 15 with a Greek-inspired world, new characters, and an epic storyline spanning months.

Honkai: Star Rail fans, prepare for an exciting new adventure as Version 3.0 arrives on January 15. This update, titled Paean of Era Nova, introduces a stunning Greek-themed world called Amphoreus, filled with chaos, eternal night, and mysterious Titans.

Explore the Greek-inspired planet of Amphoreus

Amphoreus is unlike any other destination in Honkai: Star Rail. Unlike the Aeons you’re familiar with, the inhabitants of this isolated planet worship 12 powerful deities known as Titans. The planet is shrouded in an eternal night caused by a “black tide,” a phenomenon that has engulfed Amphoreus in darkness and chaos. Adding to the turmoil is a civil war among the Titans, further dividing this enigmatic world.

The story on Amphoreus is set to be the longest storyline in the game so far, spanning Versions 3.0 through 3.7. You’ll follow the Trailblazer and Dan Heng as they navigate Amphoreus’s diverse regions, including:

  • Abyss of Fate, where the Titan of Time resides.
  • The cities of Okhema and Castrum Kremnos, each with its own Titan.
  • The Vortex of Genesis is a sanctuary for all 12 Titans.

This rich narrative promises a blend of mystery, mythology, and action that will immerse you for months.

Meet the new characters in Version 3.0

Version 3.0 brings two new 5-star characters to the roster, offering unique abilities and gameplay styles:

  1. The Herta: Not to be confused with the existing Herta, this new Ice-Type Erudition character excels in AoE damage. Her ability and interpretation allow her and her allies to multiply their attack damage, making her a formidable addition to any team.
  2. Aglaea: A Remembrance character with a combat style inspired by duet dances. Using her memosprite, Garmentmaker, Aglaea enhances rhythm and battle variability by boosting speed stats and enabling joint attacks.

Trailblazers will also gain access to the Remembrance path, offering new abilities and options for your main character.

Returning characters and exclusive outfits

For fans of past favourites, Version 3.0 has plenty in store. The first half of the update will feature returning 5-star characters Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade, while the second half will reintroduce Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf.

Additionally, the fan-favourite character on March 7 will receive a brand-new outfit. You can unlock it by accessing the “Characters” function and logging in during the update. This exclusive outfit is a stylish bonus for players jumping into Version 3.0.

HoYoverse is pulling out all the stops with Version 3.0. From the sprawling, mythological world of Amphoreus to an extended storyline and exciting new characters, this update promises to be a turning point in the game’s journey.

Prepare to board the Astral Express on January 15 and explore a world like no other.
