JBL’s Tour Pro 3 earbuds introduce a more prominent display and more features

JBL's new Tour Pro 3 earbuds offer a larger display, improved sound, and longer battery life. Find out more about these high-end wireless earbuds.

JBL has launched its latest flagship earbuds, the Tour Pro 3, with an even larger display on the charging case and several new features. The new model builds on the innovative design of its predecessor, the Tour Pro 2, and aims to stay ahead in the competitive wireless earbuds market.

A larger display with added functionality

One of the standout features of the JBL Tour Pro 2 was its charging case with a built-in display, and now, the Tour Pro 3 takes it a step further. The display has increased to 1.57 inches, compared to the previous 1.45 inches. While the core functionality remains the same—you can control playback, adjust listening modes, and check battery levels—the case now offers additional capabilities.

A major upgrade is the case’s ability to function as a transmitter. You can connect it to a device using a USB-C or 3.5mm jack and stream audio to your earbuds. This is particularly useful for in-flight entertainment systems that lack Bluetooth connectivity, making the Tour Pro 3 a great companion for frequent travellers.

Enhanced audio and noise cancellation

JBL has also improved the earbuds, equipping them with a new dual-driver configuration. Each earbud features a 10mm dynamic driver and a balanced armature, which deliver more detailed sound. The earbuds also come with JBL’s latest True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 technology, which adapts to your surroundings for an optimal listening experience. Additionally, they support spatial audio with head tracking, making them ideal for immersive sound experiences.

To further refine sound quality, the Tour Pro 3 includes Personi-fi 3.0, an adaptive EQ function that analyses your ears and creates a personalised sound profile. This ensures that the earbuds deliver a balanced and optimised audio experience tailored to each user.

Strong connectivity and long battery life

The Tour Pro 3 has Bluetooth 5.3 LE and supports multiple audio codecs, including SBC, AAC, LDAC, and LC3. A future firmware update will also support Auracast, a new Bluetooth technology that allows users to connect to Auracast-enabled broadcasting devices, unlocking new ways to enjoy audio.

Battery life is another strong point for these earbuds. With active noise cancellation (ANC) turned on, the Tour Pro 3 can last up to 8 hours on a single charge. The charging case provides three additional charges, giving users up to 32 hours of playtime. This makes the Tour Pro 3 one of the longest-lasting earbuds in its class.

The JBL Tour Pro 3 is available now in Black and Latte for S$349. You can purchase them through online retailers such as Lazada, Shopee, and the JBL Online Store.
