Klaviyo opens Asia headquarters in Singapore as APAC team expands
The technology platform establishes a Singapore hub to support regional growth, leverage local AI adoption, and expand its workforce across the APAC region.
Klaviyo has established its Asia headquarters in Singapore, creating a regional base equipped with local leadership and infrastructure to support its growth across Asia-Pacific. The new office opens with more than 25 employees, contributing to a broader regional workforce that currently exceeds 150 people. Backed by support from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the company plans to expand its APAC headcount to over 175 employees by the end of 2026.
Klaviyo APAC Managing Director Brian Kealey highlighted access to skilled talent, strong regional connectivity, proximity to customers, and Singapore’s evolving AI ecosystem as key drivers behind selecting the city. “Klaviyo’s mission is to help consumer brands build direct, lasting relationships with their customers,” Kealey stated. “Singapore was a natural choice for our regional headquarters as it offers deep access to a skilled talent pool, strong connectivity across the region, proximity to a fast-growing customer base, and a maturing AI ecosystem that aligns with Klaviyo’s strategic focus. We are scaling our footprint to meet this demand, hoping to expand our regional team to more than 175 employees by the end of the year.”
This regional expansion reflects broader momentum for the company, which serves more than 115,000 international customers and is recording double-digit revenue growth in APAC. Beyond the Americas, second-quarter revenue for 2026 rose 35% year on year, bringing Klaviyo’s overall global revenue run rate to nearly US$1.5 billion.
Singapore consumers are using AI to make shopping decisions
The move into Singapore arrives as consumer adoption of AI tools within retail continues to accelerate. Research commissioned by Klaviyo and conducted by One Pulse in May 2026, which surveyed 1,000 Singapore consumers aged 21 to 60, revealed that three in four respondents had used AI to help find or select a product in the preceding three months. Furthermore, 51% stated they were open to autonomous AI agents handling routine repeat purchases on their behalf, while 58% expressed a willingness to share additional personal data with brands in exchange for more relevant recommendations.
Shoppers also expressed a desire for clearer recognition from retail brands. Nearly half of those surveyed wanted companies to stop sending irrelevant marketing messages and instead recognise them as loyal customers rather than treating each purchase as an isolated transaction.
These consumer insights align directly with the core capabilities of Klaviyo’s platform. By creating a real-time view of interactions, purchases, and preferences, the software enables retailers to personalise and automate their ongoing customer communications.
Customer data underpins Klaviyo’s regional expansion
Klaviyo’s platform currently draws on more than 350 native integrations, utilising customer data to personalise communications across channels such as email, WhatsApp, and customer service. As retailers throughout Asia explore how customer data and AI can refine product recommendations, the company is managing this regional expansion directly from Singapore. The strategy reflects findings from its local research, which indicates that consumers are prepared to share data when offered tangible benefits in return.
Commenting on the setup, EDB Vice President of Global Enterprises Division Clare Lee noted that the regional headquarters will allow Klaviyo to leverage Singapore’s digital infrastructure and consumer ecosystem while opening up new opportunities for local talent. The new office was formally opened by Kealey and Klaviyo Chief Revenue Officer Eric Fearday, alongside Lee.
