The Enco Air5 is priced at S$109, while the Enco Air5s is priced at S$119. Both models are available online now, with offline retail availability to begin progressively.
The launch follows the earlier introduction of the Enco Air5 Pro and gives OPPO a wider range of wireless earbuds for everyday listening. The two new models share several core features, but differ in fit, noise cancellation design and sound tuning.
Noise cancellation comes in two fits
The Enco Air5 carries the stronger noise cancellation claim. OPPO said the earbuds can reduce noise by up to 52 dB across a frequency range of up to 5,000 Hz, using a dual-feed system and real-time active noise cancellation that adapts to surrounding noise.
The Enco Air5s takes a different route by bringing active noise cancellation to a semi-in-ear design. OPPO describes it as the company’s first semi-in-ear earbuds with ANC. The earbuds adjust noise cancellation based on ear fit and surrounding conditions, while keeping the lighter feel of a semi-in-ear form factor.
That distinction gives the two models clearer roles. The Enco Air5 is aimed at users who want stronger noise reduction and a more sealed listening experience, while the Enco Air5s is built around comfort for longer wear.
OPPO separates the models through tuning and comfort
Both earbuds use 12 mm dynamic drivers, but OPPO has tuned them differently. The Enco Air5 uses a Dynamic Bass Driver that the company said delivers up to 100% greater vibration amplitude than its predecessor. It also includes Clear Acoustic Cavity Design and OPPO Alive Audio.
The Enco Air5s uses a customised 12 mm driver with a copper-clad aluminium wire coil and OPPO’s Acoustic Cavity Design. It also includes Adaptive Sound Enhancement, which OPPO said compensates for sound leakage and adjusts frequencies in real time. Users can further tune the sound through a 10-band custom equaliser.
The two models also differ in weight and durability. The Enco Air5 weighs 4.3 g per earbud and comes with IP55 resistance, giving it stronger protection for daily use. The Enco Air5s weighs 3.9 g and uses a semi-in-ear shape designed to reduce pressure during extended wear.
Battery life and smart features round out the update
OPPO said the Enco Air5 can deliver up to 54 hours of playback, while the Enco Air5s offers up to 48 hours. The company also said both models are engineered to retain up to 80% battery health after 1,000 charging cycles and have received TÜV Rheinland Battery Health Certification.
Both earbuds support dual-device connectivity, allowing users to switch between devices more easily. The Enco Air5 supports Bluetooth 6.1 and smart tap controls, while the Enco Air5s adds AI Translate and gesture controls.
The Enco Air5 is available in Glossy White and Midnight Black. The Enco Air5s comes in Lunar White and Starlight Purple, although the Starlight Purple option will be available at a later date.
