OPPO introduces the Reno12 F 5G in Singapore

Launching on 3 August in Singapore, the OPPO Reno12 F 5G merges advanced AI capabilities with a sleek design, offering enhanced connectivity and robust durability.

OPPO will unveil the Reno12 F 5G in Singapore on 3 August, expanding its acclaimed Reno Series with an advanced AI phone. This model blends sophisticated technology with aesthetic design, enhancing users’ creative and productive capabilities.

A blend of innovative design and style

The Reno12 F 5G showcases the new Cosmos Ring Design, taking inspiration from classic wristwatches. This innovative circular camera module on the back imparts a sleek, luxurious appearance. The Halo Light encircles the camera, syncing with music to provide dynamic lighting effects and doubles as a discreet notification alert for calls and messages.

Offered in two eye-catching colours, Amber Orange and Olive Green, the phone combines contemporary and classic hues. Its lightweight structure—7.69mm in Olive Green and 7.76mm in Amber Orange—weighs just 187g, ensuring it is both stylish and practical for everyday use.

Enhanced screen and robust construction

The Reno12 F 5G features a 120Hz Smart Adaptive Screen that offers vivid visuals with a peak brightness of up to 2,100 nits, ensuring clear and responsive interactions. Its Splash Touch capability enhances screen responsiveness under wet conditions, which is particularly useful during rain.

Durability is paramount with the phone’s All-Round Armour, designed to protect against everyday wear, including drops, scratches, and water splashes. This comprehensive protection includes a high-strength glass screen and an internal Sponge Bionic Cushioning structure that safeguards the device’s components, achieving a 5-Star rating in SGS Performance Multi-Scene Protection Testing.

Cutting-edge AI features

At the heart of the Reno12 F 5G is a sophisticated AI suite designed to boost photography and productivity. The AI Eraser 2.0 feature seamlessly removes unwanted elements from photos, while AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 offers refined accuracy for creating multi-subject cutouts. AI Studio further enriches the photography experience by transforming standard portraits into distinctive digital avatars.

The AI Toolbox includes productivity tools such as AI Recording Summary, which converts voice recordings into succinct summaries, and AI Writer, which assists in drafting emails and social media content. This toolbox also includes AI Speak, which reads articles aloud, enhancing productivity across various applications.

Exceptional performance and enduring connectivity

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Platform, the Reno12 F 5G enhances energy efficiency by 10% compared to its predecessors. It is available with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM, and also features RAM Expansion to ensure smooth multitasking.

The device’s 5,000mAh battery supports up to nearly 14 hours of continuous TikTok streaming. The 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge allows for a quick recharge, achieving a full charge in just 71 minutes.

Availability and pricing

The Reno12 F 5G will hit the shelves in Singapore on 3 August 2024, available in Amber Orange and Olive Green. The 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM model is priced at S$499 and includes a complimentary gift valued at S$69 and 2 years of screen care.
