OPPO launches Find X9 series globally with advanced camera and battery upgrades

OPPO launches the Find X9 series globally, featuring a 200MP Hasselblad camera, 7500mAh battery, and new ColorOS 16 for enhanced performance.

OPPO has announced the global launch of its flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, offering a major step forward in mobile photography, performance, and battery technology. The new series builds on OPPO’s collaboration with Hasselblad, introducing a 200MP telephoto camera, improved imaging algorithms, and a redesigned ColorOS 16.

Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at OPPO, said, “Find X9 Series represents a giant leap forward in mobile imaging, driven by industry-leading innovations like the 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto. As OPPO’s new-generation flagship, Find X9 Series delivers a comprehensive, top-to-bottom upgrade, setting a new global standard for smartphone excellence.”

The Find X9 series debuts the next-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System. The standard model includes a 50MP main camera using Sony’s LYT-808 sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus for macro shots, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens powered by the Sony LYT600 sensor. A dedicated True Color Camera enhances colour accuracy by measuring ambient light.

The Find X9 Pro goes further with an upgraded 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT 828 sensor using Real-Time Triple Exposure technology. Its standout feature is the 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto, co-developed with Hasselblad. The 3x zoom lens has an f/2.1 aperture and a 10cm minimum focus distance, ideal for macro photography. OPPO’s new Active Optical Alignment process ensures precise alignment between lens and sensor, improving resolution by 15%.

Both phones feature the new LUMO Image Engine, which uses parallel computing to improve clarity, dynamic range, and colour accuracy while reducing CPU and memory usage. The cameras support 4K Motion Photos, enabling users to capture detailed frames from video footage.

Designed for power, endurance, and entertainment

The Find X9 series is optimised for live events and concerts, offering lossless zoom up to 13.2x and enhanced digital zoom up to 120x. OPPO’s Stage Mode improves photo contrast and tone, while both models record 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR video. Professional users can take advantage of LOG recording with ACES certification for advanced colour grading. OPPO has also developed a Hasselblad Teleconverter, which boosts optical zoom up to 10x and digital zoom up to 200x.

Battery performance has also seen significant upgrades. The Find X9 carries a 7025mAh battery in a slim 7.99mm body, while the Find X9 Pro houses a 7500mAh unit—the largest ever in an OPPO flagship. Both use the company’s third-generation Silicon-Carbon Battery, retaining over 80% of their capacity after five years. Charging options include 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging, 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Strong performance and sleek design

Powering the series is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process for 32% better performance and 55% lower power consumption. It is supported by the Trinity Engine, a system developed with MediaTek that improves resource management for sustained performance and energy efficiency. The Find X9 series also includes upgraded cooling systems to ensure stability during intensive tasks.

Both phones feature a 120Hz flat display with ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels, a peak brightness of 3600 nits, and advanced dimming for eye comfort. The Find X9 comes in Titanium Grey, Space Black, and Velvet Red, while the Find X9 Pro is available in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal. All models feature IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering resistance against dust, water jets, and high-temperature spray.

Running on ColorOS 16, the phones offer improved smoothness, responsiveness, and AI features. These include AI Mind Space for capturing content with one tap, AI Recorder for automatic summaries, and AI Portrait Glow for enhanced low-light portraits. The O+ Connect feature extends cross-device connectivity to both Mac and Windows, allowing users to mirror up to five apps and control them with a mouse and keyboard.
