OPPO launches Reno14 Series with AI photography and mermaid-inspired design in Singapore

OPPO launches Reno14 Series in Singapore with AI photography, sleek design, and productivity tools, starting from S$749.

OPPO has officially introduced the Reno14 Series in Singapore, comprising the Reno14 Pro 5G, Reno14 5G, and Reno14 F 5G. With this launch, the company is bringing AI Flash Photography, a refreshed design approach, and enhanced productivity tools to a new generation of smartphones. The devices will be available from 27 June, with prices starting at S$749.

Design and durability take centre stage

The Reno14 Series brings a youthful and striking aesthetic with its Iridescent Mermaid Design. OPPO developed a new Iridescent Glow Process involving 12 layers of coatings and five stages of microtexturing, producing a shimmering, fluid finish on the back panel. Both the Reno14 Pro 5G and Reno14 5G feature a One-piece Sculpted Glass back and aerospace-grade aluminium frame for added durability.

All three models are rated IP66, IP68, and IP69 for dust and water resistance. Additionally, the USB interface now includes a platinum-grade anti-corrosion coating. Display-wise, each model is equipped with a flat AMOLED screen with slim bezels, supporting Splash Touch and Glove Mode for better touch response in various conditions. The Reno14 Pro 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. The Reno14 5G and Reno14 F 5G have 6.59-inch and 6.57-inch displays, respectively.

The devices are offered in a variety of finishes. The Reno14 Pro 5G comes in Titanium Grey and Opal White, while the Reno14 5G is available in Opal White and Luminous Green. The Reno14 F 5G expands the range with Opal Blue, Glossy Pink, and Luminous Green.

Advanced imaging with AI Flash Photography

The Reno14 Series debuts OPPO’s AI Flash Photography system, designed to capture well-lit photos across various lighting conditions. Both the Reno14 Pro 5G and Reno14 5G are equipped with a triple-flash system comprising two units for main and ultra-wide cameras and a dedicated focus flash for the telephoto lens. OPPO claims up to 10 times the brightness compared to the previous generation. The Reno14 F 5G includes a dual-flash system with twice the brightness of its predecessor.

The Reno14 Pro 5G is fitted with three 50MP rear cameras, including an ultra-wide, wide, and 3.5x periscope telephoto lens. The same telephoto camera is also available on the Reno14 5G, offering improved portrait and zoom photography. The upgraded Flash Mode supports low-light portraiture with realistic skin tones and depth.

The new AI Livephoto 2.0, available on the Reno14 Pro 5G and Reno14 5G, uses a Dual Exposure Fusion technique to capture short and long exposures simultaneously, reducing blur and capturing more detail. Additional AI editing tools include AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Eraser, AI Reflection Remover, AI Clarity Enhancer, and AI Unblur.

Video performance is also improved with AI-Enhanced 4K HDR Video, which offers clearer resolution, better colour, and dynamic range straight from the camera.

AI tools boost productivity and gaming performance

OPPO’s ColorOS 15 introduces new AI-driven productivity features. AI Mind Space allows users to save snippets of important information—such as articles, numbers or photos—via a three-finger swipe, storing them in a dedicated app. AI Call Summary and AI Call Translator help users break language barriers and record key points from phone conversations. AI VoiceScribe enables transcription and translation of calls, meetings, and even video content, supporting over 20 languages.

The Translate app complements these tools with camera-based translation and split-screen conversation modes.

Under the hood, the Reno14 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 platform, offering a 41% improvement in multi-core performance and 44% better power efficiency than its predecessor. The device also features the Arm Mali-G720 GPU for a 24% graphics boost. All models in the series use Vapor Chamber cooling, with the Reno14 5G and Reno14 Pro 5G employing an AI Nano Dual-Drive Cooling System for better heat dissipation during prolonged gaming.

The Reno14 Pro 5G is fitted with a 6,200mAh battery and supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. A 10-minute charge can deliver over 13 hours of call time or 7 hours of video playback. The Reno14 5G and Reno14 F 5G come with 6,000mAh batteries and SUPERVOOC fast charging.

The Reno14 Series will be available in Singapore from 27 June. The Reno14 Pro 5G (24GB RAM + 512GB storage) is priced at S$999, while the Reno14 5G (24GB RAM + 256GB storage) is priced at S$749.
