OPPO launches Reno15 series in Singapore with creator-focused cameras and AI tools
OPPO launches the Reno15 Series in Singapore with creator-focused cameras, AI tools, long battery life, and advanced video features.
OPPO has launched the Reno15 Series in Singapore, introducing three new smartphones designed to position the range as an all-in-one creative toolkit. The lineup comprises the Reno15 Pro Max 5G, Reno15 5G, and Reno15 F 5G, each aimed at users who prioritise photography, video creation, and long-term performance.
At the centre of the launch is a new 50MP Ultra Wide Selfie Camera, paired with AI-powered features intended to simplify the creation process from capture through to editing. OPPO is positioning the Reno15 Series as a self-sufficient creative device that allows users to produce polished content with minimal manual adjustment, often with a single tap.
Beyond imaging, OPPO has focused on endurance and system fluidity. The Reno15 Series features batteries of up to 6,500mAh, supported by 80W fast charging. The devices run on ColorOS 16, powered by OPPO’s updated Trinity Engine, which is designed to balance performance and power efficiency. OPPO has also introduced a 6-Year Fluency Protection certification, signalling a commitment to sustained performance over an extended device lifespan.
Design, display, and durability built for everyday creativity
Building on the design language of the Reno14 Series, the Reno15 Series draws inspiration from aurora-like light effects, creating a shifting, reflective finish intended to feel dynamic in the hand. The design centres around a Dynamic Stellar Ring camera module, paired with a one-piece sculpted glass back that produces a subtle halo effect around the camera housing.
The display lineup varies across models, with the Reno15 Pro Max 5G leading the range. It features a 6.78-inch 120Hz Smart Adaptive Display with ultra-slim 1.15mm symmetrical bezels, placing it among the thinnest in its category. The Reno15 5G and Reno15 F 5G follow with 6.59-inch and 6.57-inch 120Hz displays respectively, offering a balance between screen size and portability.
Durability is a key focus across the series. All models feature IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, enabling use in a wider range of outdoor conditions, from accidental spills to heavy rain. OPPO has also included Splash Touch technology, which allows the display to remain responsive even when wet, a feature aimed at creators who shoot in unpredictable environments.
Together, these design and hardware choices underline OPPO’s effort to position the Reno15 Series as a practical tool for everyday use rather than a purely aesthetic device, combining visual appeal with resilience and usability.
Imaging, video, performance, and pricing details
Photography and video capabilities form the core of the Reno15 Series. The new 50MP Ultra Wide Selfie Camera offers a 100-degree field of view, allowing users to capture group selfies and wide scenes without additional accessories. The wide perspective is designed to add spatial depth, particularly useful for vlogs and travel content where both subject and surroundings matter.
On the rear, the Reno15 Pro Max 5G and Reno15 5G feature a 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera with a periscope lens, tuned to a focal length close to the classic 85mm portrait standard. This enables half-body portraits with natural perspective and background blur. The Reno15 Pro Max 5G further includes a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera, allowing detailed image capture with flexibility for cropping while maintaining clarity.
OPPO has complemented the hardware with AI Flash Photography 2.0, using dual rear flashes for softer lighting and a front screen flash to improve selfies in low light. Image processing is handled by the Reno Portrait Engine and Skin Tone Improvement algorithm, which aim to enhance overall image quality while preserving natural skin texture.
Editing tools are also expanded. Features such as AI Portrait Glow adjust lighting in challenging conditions, while the Popout feature allows layered compositions that make subjects appear to leap from the frame. AI Motion Photo Popout, AI Motion Photo Eraser, and AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo extend these capabilities into motion content, enabling object removal, animated effects, and cinematic slow motion with minimal effort.
For video creators, the Reno15 Series supports 4K HDR Ultra-Steady Video, combining vivid colour reproduction with stabilisation for smoother footage. Dual-View Video allows simultaneous recording from front and rear cameras, while Seamless Camera Switch enables uninterrupted transitions during recording. Video Editing 2.0 provides in-app editing tools for quick post-production.
Performance is driven by ColorOS 16, with the Luminous Rendering Engine delivering smoother animations. The Reno15 Pro Max 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 platform with AI HyperBoost 2.0, supporting stable high frame rates in games while managing heat. Connectivity features include AI LinkBoost 3.0 across the series, with additional SignalBoost and NetworkBoost chips on Pro models to reduce latency and improve antenna efficiency.
Cross-device functionality is supported through O+ Connect, enabling file transfers between OPPO and iOS or iPadOS devices, alongside screen mirroring and remote PC control for macOS and Windows.

The Reno15 Pro Max 5G is priced at S$1,049, the Reno15 5G at S$829, and the Reno15 F 5G at S$599 for the 12GB + 512GB variant and S$499 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
