OPPO Reno15 series launches in Singapore with new photo and video editing features
OPPO launches the Reno15 series in Singapore, featuring AI-powered photo tools, large batteries, and three models for different users.
OPPO has launched the Reno15 smartphone series in Singapore, refreshing its mid-range line-up with a strong focus on cameras, battery life and creative software tools. The range includes three models: the Reno15 5G, the Reno15 F 5G and the Reno15 Pro Max 5G, each designed to appeal to a slightly different audience while sharing a common design language and core features.
Unlike many smartphone families, which are clearly split by price tier, the Reno15 series spans entry-level, mid-range and near-flagship segments. The standard Reno15 sits firmly in the middle, offering a balance of performance and features. The Reno15 F is positioned as a more affordable option, keeping many of the same software optimisations while scaling back on certain hardware elements. At the top of the range, the Reno15 Pro Max is aimed at users who prioritise photography, video creation and selfies.
All three devices share several headline specifications. Each model is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery and supports 80W wired SuperVOOC charging, a combination designed to support heavy daily use and fast top-ups. OPPO said the large battery capacity reflects changing usage habits, particularly among younger users who spend more time creating and consuming content on their phones.
Shared hardware and software foundations
The Reno15 series runs on ColorOS 16, OPPO’s customised version of Android 16. The software includes full support for Google Mobile Services and the Google Play Store, ensuring access to mainstream apps and services. OPPO has continued to focus on smooth performance and visual consistency across the interface, while also integrating its latest AI-powered features.
Display technology is another area of consistency across the range. All three phones feature AMOLED panels with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, offering smoother scrolling and animations. The devices also carry IP-rated dust and water resistance, adding a degree of durability for everyday use. These features place the Reno15 series competitively within its price segment.
Connectivity and ecosystem tools from previous Reno generations also return. AI LinkBoost 3.0 is included to improve network stability in challenging environments, such as crowded public spaces. The O+ Connect app makes file transfers between Android and iOS devices easier and enables screen mirroring with macOS and Windows systems. Although these are not new additions, OPPO continues to position them as practical tools for users who move between multiple platforms.
The main hardware differences between the three models lie in their chipsets and rear camera systems. Both the Reno15 and the Reno15 Pro Max include telephoto cameras that support optical zoom, while the Reno15 F replaces this with a macro camera to keep costs down. According to OPPO, the Reno15 offers optical zoom equivalent to around 3x of its main camera, while the Reno15 Pro Max reaches approximately 3.3x.
Focus on AI-powered creativity and launch offers
Photography and video creation remain central to the Reno15 series, with OPPO placing particular emphasis on AI-assisted editing tools. The AI Portrait Glow suite acts as a digital lighting assistant, adjusting exposure, improving results in poor lighting and applying artistic enhancements to portraits. These changes are processed automatically, reducing the need for manual editing.
Additional creative tools include Popout, which combines multiple images into a single layered photo where the main subject appears to extend beyond the frame. AI Motion Popout builds on this by turning such images into short animations. OPPO has also expanded its Motion Photos feature, similar to Live Photos on iOS, by adding AI Motion Photo Eraser to remove unwanted objects and AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo to convert moments into slow-motion clips.
For video, all three devices support 4K HDR Ultra-Steady recording, combining high-resolution footage, improved colour range and advanced stabilisation. Dual-View Video is also available, allowing users to record with both the front and rear cameras simultaneously. OPPO said this is intended to make “one-take” selfie videos easier for vloggers and social media creators.
The Reno15 series is now available in Singapore in multiple colours and memory configurations. OPPO is offering a range of launch promotions running until 28 February 2026, with bonuses worth up to S$820 depending on the model and retailer. These include accessories, extended screen protection and instant discounts on selected storage variants. Additional trade-in and student discounts are available through OPPO’s official online and brand stores, along with a limited-time discount on the OPPO Watch S.
