REDMAGIC 10S Pro launches in Singapore with upgraded Snapdragon 8 Elite chip

REDMAGIC launches its 10S Pro gaming phone in Singapore with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 144Hz display, and up to 24GB RAM.

REDMAGIC has announced the launch of its latest flagship gaming smartphone, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro, in Singapore. Starting from S$999 under a limited-time promotion, the device is the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chip, alongside several performance upgrades aimed at gamers. It comes with a 144Hz AMOLED display, enhanced thermal management, a 7,050mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and support for up to 24GB RAM and 1TB of storage.

This new release continues REDMAGIC’s focus on high-performance mobile gaming, with design and functionality tailored for extended play, seamless multitasking, and immersive media use. The REDMAGIC 10S Pro runs REDMAGIC OS 10.5, based on Android 15, and incorporates Google Gemini AI for smarter everyday use.

Next-level performance with dedicated gaming enhancements

At the core of the REDMAGIC 10S Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset. The CPU now reaches speeds of up to 4.47GHz, while the GPU has been boosted to 1,200MHz. The on-device AI performance has also improved by 40%, supporting real-time enhancements and multitasking. Paired with LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage, the device is available in configurations of up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The REDMAGIC 10S Pro also includes the RedCore R3 Pro gaming chip, designed to offload tasks and maintain high responsiveness during gameplay. It enhances visual fidelity with features such as advanced super-resolution and 120FPS rendering, contributing to a smoother gaming experience even under heavy loads.

Thermal control, battery life, and visual performance

To support its high-performance specifications, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro uses an improved ICE-X cooling system with a 10-layer heat dissipation structure. At its core is Liquid Metal 2.0, offering 200 W/m·K thermal conductivity. The coverage area has been increased by 30%, now directly cooling the CPU and lowering temperatures by up to 5°C. The system includes a 23,000 RPM turbofan operating at 4dB and customisable RGB lighting for visual flair.

The 6.85-inch AMOLED display delivers a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits peak brightness, and a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio. It also includes TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and an ultra-high touch sampling rate of up to 2,500Hz for responsive input. The display features under-display camera technology and minimal bezels, further enhancing its immersive appeal.

The large 7,050mAh battery is paired with an 80W charger included in the box. It features smart charging separation to extend battery lifespan and packs 25% higher energy density than the previous generation, allowing for longer play sessions without bulk.

Design, camera, and smart connectivity

The REDMAGIC 10S Pro’s transparent metal body is paired with RGB lighting accents and a flat back design that eliminates the camera bump. Customisable shoulder triggers offer up to 520Hz sampling rate and support various lighting modes. The Magic Key can be configured for quick access to essential features, including the GameSpace launcher, camera, and voice recording.

The triple rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with distortion correction, and a 2MP supporting camera. The 16MP front camera uses enhanced AI for clearer selfies.

Multimedia is further supported by symmetrical stereo speakers with DTS-X 3D sound and a large vibration motor for haptic feedback. The device also supports external peripherals such as keyboards and controllers via the X-Gravity Gaming Center.

On the software side, Google Gemini adds voice assistant capabilities, contextual call subtitles, AI image search, and real-time translation. Connectivity features include dual-band 5G with speeds up to 20% faster, NFC with Google Pay, infrared remote control, and dual SIM support. REDMAGIC’s OS also includes dedicated modes for stable connectivity in elevators and high-speed rail environments.
