New Claudeforce integration connects Salesforce CRM data with Claude to automate sales workflows, enhance Slack collaboration and streamline enterprise tasks.
Salesforce and Anthropic are expanding their commercial collaboration through Claudeforce, connecting Salesforce data, workflows and business rules directly with Claude. This integration allows employees to review customer information and perform authorised actions straight from Anthropic’s artificial intelligence assistant.

The initial product delivered under this partnership is Salesforce in Claude, a dedicated Plugin featuring 37 prebuilt sales skills. These capabilities encompass tasks such as meeting preparation, deal health evaluations and pipeline reviews, while providing Claude with real-time revenue visibility and the capacity to update Salesforce records within an organisation’s existing permissions.
Salesforce in Claude connects AI with live CRM data
Salesforce in Claude is able to draw upon information across Salesforce, Slack and other platforms connected to Claude. During the onboarding phase, the Plugin utilises the specific business context available to a seller to generate interactive views that present accounts, pipeline details and current operational data.
System administrators can link Salesforce to Claude from a central hub, ensuring authentication and access rights are managed consistently across the organisation. Because actions requested through Claude are routed directly through Salesforce, existing governance policies and business rules remain fully in force. This structure allows Claude to update information such as a sales pipeline without requiring a separate permissions framework for the artificial intelligence service.
The connection is underpinned by AIforce, the Salesforce architecture designed to make corporate data and workflows accessible to autonomous agents via Model Context Protocol servers, APIs and command-line tools. This infrastructure allows Claude to retrieve data and invoke Salesforce functions directly, provided the user holds the appropriate permissions.
Anthropic chief executive and co-founder Dario Amodei explained that the integration is designed to bring existing Salesforce records directly into Claude for everyday commercial activities. He highlighted the value of pairing frontier intelligence with core enterprise environments.
“We believe frontier intelligence should be safe, trusted, and deeply capable, which is why the world’s leading businesses turn to Claude for their most important work. Salesforce in Claude brings this same frontier intelligence into the systems where much of the world’s commercial activity happens. Through this partnership, companies can point Claude at the customer information and business context that they’ve been building in Salesforce for decades, and use it to actually run and grow their businesses.”
Claude extends across Salesforce and Slack
Beyond standalone plugins, Claude is also being integrated directly into Salesforce products. The model functions as a reasoning engine for the Atlas Reasoning Engine in Agentforce, powers Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker by default, and remains accessible through Agent Builder. Available via Amazon Bedrock, Claude operates within the Salesforce Trust Boundary, enabling organisations in regulated sectors to deploy specialised artificial intelligence applications whilst keeping their data and workloads inside established security controls. Claude is also the first large language model provider to achieve full integration within the Salesforce Trust Boundary.
Slack represents another significant dimension of the joint initiative. Claude serves as the default model for Slack and powers Slackbot, whilst also supporting Claude Tag and acting as a founding model partner for Slack Code. Through this setup, teams can work through assignments in Slack and execute authorised actions in Salesforce within the same continuous workflow.
Salesforce is deploying Anthropic’s technology across its internal teams as well. Claude is currently used across Slack AI, Slackbot, Salesforce in Claude, Headless 360, Agentforce Coworker and Claude Code within the engineering organisation. Moving forward, Salesforce plans to offer Claude Code and Claude Enterprise to all of its software developers and knowledge workers as its preferred assistant and productivity software.
The company attributes 8.1 million annualised hours of productivity gains to its internal use of Slackbot, a figure that is more than doubling quarter on quarter. Meanwhile, Anthropic relies on Salesforce as its preferred CRM system and uses Slack as its primary internal workspace.
Open beta is planned for September
Salesforce in Claude is presently available to selected pilot customers, with a wider open beta scheduled for September 2026. Additional prebuilt sales skills will begin rolling out during the third quarter of 2026, as Salesforce and Anthropic prepare further integrations across Claude, Salesforce and Slack.
