Sharp launches AQUOS sense10 with AI-powered features for photography and communication

Sharp unveils the AQUOS sense10 with AI-powered photo and voice features, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 performance, and long battery life.

Sharp has announced the launch of the AQUOS sense10, its latest smartphone designed for the global market. The new model is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, which delivers 20% faster CPU performance, 40% stronger GPU performance, and 30% better AI capabilities than its predecessor. This performance boost allows smoother gaming, video playback, and multitasking while supporting advanced AI features for photography and communication.

The AQUOS sense10 features Sharp’s energy-efficient Pro IGZO OLED display, which adjusts its refresh rate dynamically from 1Hz to 120Hz, reaching the equivalent of 240Hz motion. With a peak brightness of 1,500 nits, the screen ensures clear visibility even under bright sunlight. Combined with a 5,000mAh battery, the phone offers up to two days of use based on typical daily activity.

Woo Keat Chew, Managing Director of Sharp Singapore, said, “The AQUOS sense10 continues Sharp’s commitment to combining Japanese craftsmanship with advanced AI technology to enrich everyday life. Every detail, from the new AI function Vocalist to the Showcase Photo Mode, reflects our dedication to quality, practicality, and innovation.”

Smarter AI features for photos and calls

The AQUOS sense10 introduces new AI features first seen in Sharp’s flagship AQUOS R10. Its improved AI correction functions can automatically remove unwanted shadows from photos. The newly added Showcase Mode reduces reflections when shooting through glass, making it easier to photograph displays, aquariums, and products without glare. The AI-powered image synthesis enhances detail when zooming and shooting in low light, producing crisp images from close-ups to ultra-wide shots.

Equipped with dual 50.3-megapixel cameras, including a large 1/1.55-inch main sensor, the AQUOS sense10 delivers detailed, low-noise images even in dim environments. The ultra-wide-angle camera offers a 122-degree field of view, while the 8-megapixel front camera supports wide-angle selfies.

Another highlight is the new AI feature called Vocalist, which improves call clarity by recognising the user’s voice and filtering out background noise. By registering their voice, users can enjoy clearer conversations in busy or noisy surroundings, as the AI isolates their speech for a natural and uninterrupted experience.

Designed for durability and style

Weighing just 166g, the AQUOS sense10 is compact and durable. It meets the MIL-STD-810H standards for impact, vibration, and temperature resistance, as well as water and dust protection (IPX5/IPX8/IP6X). This makes it reliable for everyday use, whether indoors or outdoors.

Sharp is also introducing new fashion-inspired colour options. The phone is available in five shades, with Denim Navy as the signature colour, inspired by the texture of denim fabric. Other colours include Pale Mint, Pale Pink, Full Black, and Khaki Green.

The AQUOS sense10 also debuts dual box speakers positioned at the top and bottom, providing approximately 25% higher sound pressure and 85% stronger bass than the previous model. In addition, Sharp has added eight new Photo Style filters curated by professional photographers, including Magic Hour, Cool Night, and Cinema Film, giving users more creative control over their photography.

The device runs on Android 16, offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and supports nano SIM plus eSIM connectivity. Additional features include NFC, fingerprint and facial recognition, and microSD card compatibility.

The AQUOS sense10 is available exclusively through Sharp’s online stores, including Sharp.com.sg, Lazada, and Shopee.
