Tech Week Singapore 2026 puts infrastructure readiness at the centre of its AI programme

Tech Week Singapore will return to the Sands Expo and Convention Centre on 29 and 30 September, introducing new programmes that cover open computing infrastructure, vehicle cybersecurity, and enterprise artificial intelligence adoption.

Framed around its 2026 theme, The Infrastructure Era, the upcoming gathering concentrates on the critical foundational systems necessary to support widespread artificial intelligence deployment. These include physical data centres, computing hardware, cybersecurity frameworks, governance models, energy management, and technical skills development.

Event organiser CloserStill Media expects more than 30,000 participants and over 600 regional and international speakers across the two-day event. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, is set to attend the opening day as the Guest of Honour.

New programmes examine infrastructure and security

Data Centre World Asia will host the OCP Southeast Asia Tech Day for the first time. Run by the Open Compute Project, this programme examines open hardware and computing infrastructure through industry experts from Meta, Google, Micron, and NVIDIA. Alongside this debut, the data centre showcase will feature five conference theatres together with a Live Data Centre offering visitors guided tours and live demonstrations. Driven by this expanded focus, CloserStill Media projects attendance at Data Centre World Asia to rise by 25% compared with last year.

In tandem with infrastructure developments, Cyber Security World Asia will also introduce a Live Vehicle Cyber Hackathon where participants test defensive capabilities against AI-enabled vehicle security risks, directly fostering talent in the sector. Concurrently, Big Data and AI World Asia will feature an AI Consultation Clinic operated by Beyondsoft, designed to help businesses evaluate how their existing data can power practical artificial intelligence applications.

Speakers will cover AI, quantum computing and business operations

The primary conference agenda spans artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, sustainability, and digital operations. Setting the stage for quantum technology, Horizon Quantum founder and chief executive Dr Joe Fitzsimons will deliver an opening keynote on the quantum economy. Additionally, Dr Nicolas Heess, AI and Robotics Team Lead at Google DeepMind, is scheduled to address the application of artificial intelligence in general-purpose robotics.

Opening the second day, AI Innovation Director at AI Singapore Laurence Liew will outline strategies for preparing organisations to adopt artificial intelligence. The conference will also highlight sustainability through a closing keynote featuring Andrea Vena, Chief Sustainability Officer at the European Space Agency, who will speak on space AI and environmental sustainability.

Other high-profile speakers on the schedule include Kaan Cetinturk, Global CIO and Director of Digital Impact at UNICEF, Guillermo Veiga, Group Chief Information and Operations Officer at Standard Chartered, and Marta A. Tomovska, Advisor to the President of the National Assembly of Serbia.

Five technology shows return

Tech Week Singapore will once again co-locate five specialised events, bringing together Cloud and AI Infrastructure Asia, DevOps Live, Cyber Security World Asia, Data Centre World Asia, and Big Data and AI World Asia under a single roof.

Each co-located show targets distinct pillars of modern technology. Cloud and AI Infrastructure Asia addresses cloud strategy, artificial intelligence deployment, data architecture, and infrastructure resilience, while DevOps Live explores software delivery, platform engineering, and cloud-native systems. Cyber Security World Asia examines emerging threats, regulatory frameworks, and security architecture. Meanwhile, Big Data and AI World Asia presents real-world case studies covering analytics, machine learning, governance, and applied artificial intelligence.
