TerraMaster unveils an ultra-compact SSD NAS with up to 64TB of storage and a 10GbE LAN port

TerraMaster’s ultra-compact F8 SSD NAS offers 64TB of fast storage with a 10GbE LAN port, ideal for home offices, small businesses, and content creators.

TerraMaster introduced its latest SSD NAS devices to its 2024 fall product lineup. The F8 SSD NAS offers up to 64TB of ultra-fast storage spread across eight NVMe M.2 SSD bays. It is perfect for high-performance tasks such as 4K video editing, large-scale backups, and business operations that need quick access to vast data.

Two versions are available at discounted prices

The F8 SSD NAS comes in two versions: the standard F8 SSD, normally priced at US$599.99, and the more powerful F8 SSD Plus, which retails for US$799.99. However, both models are currently on offer for a limited time. You can grab the F8 SSD at a discounted price of US$499.99, while the F8 SSD Plus is available for US$699.99.

Both models run on TerraMaster’s TOS 6 operating system, designed to ensure smooth performance and efficient data management. This OS makes it easy to control and organise your storage, whether backing up data or working with high-demand tasks.

Powered by Intel processors for enhanced performance

The F8 SSD is powered by an Intel N95 processor with four cores, sufficient for general storage tasks and lighter workloads. For those who need even more power, the F8 SSD Plus is equipped with an eight-core Intel Core i3-N305 processor, making it a better fit for heavier demands, such as managing large files and more intensive tasks.

Both models have 8GB of DDR5 memory as standard, but you can expand this up to 32GB to boost performance even further.

A standout feature of the F8 SSD NAS is its 10GbE LAN port, which enables rapid data transfers. This is especially useful for professionals who need to work with large files, such as video editors, content creators, and businesses requiring fast access to data.

The NAS supports eight NVMe M.2 SSD drives, allowing you to store up to 64TB of raw data. It also supports files like EXT4 and BTRFS internally, while external drives can utilise EXT3, NTFS, and other common systems. In addition to the LAN port, the F8 SSD and F8 SSD Plus include three USB ports, allowing for easy connection to external devices.

Measuring just 177x60x140 mm, this NAS is designed with compactness in mind. It is perfect for environments where space is limited, such as small offices, home setups, or even content creators working from home studios.

Perfect for various user needs

The TerraMaster F8 SSD NAS is ideal for anyone needing a powerful, space-saving storage option. Whether you are a content creator working on data-heavy projects, a small business managing backups, or someone looking for an easy-to-use storage system for home office use, the F8 SSD NAS offers the perfect balance of performance and size.

Both versions of the F8 SSD NAS are available for purchase globally via TerraMaster’s official website and Amazon, making it easy to access this top-tier storage solution.
