vivo launches V60 Lite 5G in Singapore with entertainment and durability focus

vivo launches the V60 Lite 5G in Singapore, offering powerful performance, long battery life, advanced cameras and a durable build.

vivo has introduced the V60 Lite 5G to the Singapore market, positioning it as an entertainment-driven smartphone with long-lasting performance and durability. The global rollout with Singapore among the first to receive the device, priced at S$499. Designed for users who want style, speed, and resilience, the V60 Lite 5G blends advanced display technology, powerful hardware, and a robust battery system.

Sleek design and immersive visuals

The V60 Lite 5G features a slim, flat-screen design with a lightweight build for comfortable long-term use. Its 6.77-inch AMOLED display supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and is certified for HDR10+, Netflix HDR, and Amazon Prime Video HDR. A 94.2 percent screen-to-body ratio ensures an immersive viewing experience, while colour options such as Pop Pink and Elegant Black give the phone a stylish, modern look. The rear camera area stands out with a transparent module, adding to its premium design.

Performance built for nonstop use

At its core, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo gaming platform, built on an advanced 4 nm process. vivo claims performance improvements of up to 60 percent, with multi-core CPU output boosted by 49 percent and GPU power doubled compared to previous models. With 12GB of RAM and up to 12GB extended RAM, users can expect smooth multitasking and faster app loading. Storage is generous at 512GB, allowing space for large apps, HD videos, and games.

The display’s high refresh rate is complemented by dual stereo speakers with 400 percent boosted volume for rich, clear audio. Connectivity has also been enhanced with AI SuperLink and a 360° antenna, ensuring strong signal reception. The phone can switch between networks seamlessly through AI Network Selection and boost Wi-Fi performance in weak signal conditions. Gamers benefit from features such as Ultra Game Mode, Game Boost Mode, Esports Mode, and Mistouch Prevention.

Advanced camera system

The triple-camera setup is led by a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with a large sensor for detailed, well-lit shots. Supporting this is an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view and a 32 MP front-facing camera for clear selfies and video calls. AI enhancements include AI Erase 3.0 to remove unwanted objects, AI Reflection Erase to clean up photos taken through glass, and AI Photo Enhance to upscale low-resolution images. AI Four-Season Portrait also lets users instantly adjust lighting and colour tones for different seasonal effects.

Extended battery life and strong durability

Battery life is a highlight, with a 6,500 mAh BlueVolt battery engineered to maintain good health for up to five years. It supports 90W FlashCharge, reaching full capacity from one percent in 52 minutes. Just 10 minutes of charging provides enough power for more than six hours of YouTube or nearly four hours of gaming. Features such as Bypass Charging help manage heat during heavy use, while Super Battery Saver and Battery Life Extender keep the phone operational even at very low power levels.

Durability is also emphasised. The V60 Lite 5G is certified with SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance and a military-grade anti-drop design. It uses shield glass and impact-absorbing materials to handle daily knocks. Users can also rely on Wet-Hand Touch, Greasy-Hand Touch, and features like One-Tap Water Ejection and Dust Ejection to keep the phone functional in challenging conditions, including heavy rain.

Smart productivity tools

Beyond entertainment, the V60 Lite 5G comes with AI-powered productivity features integrated with Google Gemini. These include AI Captions, AI Smart Call Assistant, AI Note Assist, and AI Transcript Assist to streamline communication and note-taking. Call security is improved through intelligent spam call blocking.

The vivo V60 Lite 5G is now available in Singapore at S$499, offering an entertainment-first design with long-term reliability and practical AI features.
