vivo launches X300 series in Singapore with 200 MP ZEISS imaging

vivo launches its X300 series in Singapore with upgraded ZEISS cameras, new OriginOS software, stronger performance and CASETiFY editions.

vivo has launched its new X300 and X300 Pro flagship smartphones in Singapore, introducing an upgraded imaging system centred on a 200 MP ZEISS Ultra-Clear camera. The global debut marks the company’s 30th anniversary and reinforces its focus on user-led innovation across photography, performance, software and design. The phones also arrive with vivo’s first collaboration with CASETiFY, offering limited-edition cases as part of the pre-order campaign.

The X300 Pro leads the series with a 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera supported by an improved Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB. Its 50 MP main camera uses a large 1/1.28-inch sensor with CIPA 5.5-rated stabilisation, designed to deliver faster and more stable image capture. The model also includes the new Pro Imaging Chip VS1, which enhances output speed, clarity and noise reduction.

The X300 shares the 200 MP ZEISS main camera, paired with CIPA 4.5-rated stabilisation and a ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera using the LYT-602 sensor for better dynamic range and reduced power consumption. Both models feature an upgraded 50 MP ZEISS wide-angle front camera with autofocus and a new high-resolution portrait mode that captures sharper detail for photos and videos.

The series supports the vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit, designed to deliver clearer long-range shots and a natural bokeh effect. This kit is suitable for capturing concerts, sports events or distant scenery with greater detail and sharpness.

Expanded creative features for stills and video

The X300 series introduces several imaging upgrades aimed at versatility and creative control. Stage Mode 2.0 captures multiple angles of live performances, while 4K Stage All-in-One Recording allows users to shoot high-resolution photos while recording video. Dual-View Stage Video enables simultaneous capture using any two cameras, allowing users to film themselves and performers within the same frame.

Portrait enhancements include ZEISS Natural Portrait for more realistic skin tones, Multi-Focal HD Portrait for fine detail, and a Night Portrait mode that adjusts for complex lighting conditions. On the X300 Pro, new modes such as 20x Long-Range Motion Snapshot and Telephoto Flower & Bird Shots help isolate subjects using ZEISS Mirotar-style bokeh.

Both models support 4K 120 fps Pro Video recording. The X300 Pro provides further capability with 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision Video and 4K 120 fps 10-bit Log Video on the main and telephoto cameras, offering wider dynamic range and more flexibility for post-production. The series is also the first in the industry to support 4K 60 fps portrait video.

AI Image Studio introduces features such as AI One-Shot Multi-Crop, AI Landscape Master for difficult lighting, and Live Photo Passerby Erase, which removes unwanted elements from images.

OriginOS global debut and performance upgrades

The series is the first to ship globally with the new OriginOS. Built on Ultra-core Computing, Memory Fusion and Dual Rendering engines, it aims to offer smoother performance, a cleaner visual design and an expanded set of personalisation tools. New features include Flip Cards, which use gyroscope-based animations, and Origin Island, which provides contextual reminders and smart suggestions.

OriginOS also integrates vivo Office Kit, enabling phone-to-PC mirroring, file transfer, remote control and cross-device note syncing. The AI suite includes tools for rewriting, translation, summarisation and brainstorming, with Google Gemini integration to support productivity and creative tasks.

A new vivo Security framework consolidates privacy and protection tools. Private Space creates an encrypted area for sensitive content, while the X300 series is assured five years of OS upgrades.

The devices run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, developed jointly by MediaTek and vivo on TSMC’s N3P process. The chip includes an all-big-core CPU, a 12-core G1-Ultra GPU, and an NPU that doubles processing capability while lowering power consumption. Paired with vivo’s Imaging Chip V3+, the platform enables features such as the industry’s first 4K 60 fps cinematic portrait video.

Battery performance is supported by the BlueVolt Battery System, which combines silicon anode material with semi-solid electrolytes. The X300 Pro houses a 6510 mAh battery, while the X300 includes a 6040 mAh unit. Both support 90W FlashCharge and wireless charging. The displays use 8T LTPO panels with up to 2000 nits peak brightness and 2160 Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort.

The phones are rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance, with Reinforced Glass on the X300 and Armor Glass on the X300 Pro. Other features include 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanning 2.0, AI SuperLink for stronger connectivity, and an Efficient Cooling System optimised for gaming and long video capture.

Design, collaboration and availability

Both models use a Unibody 3D Glass Design that blends the camera housing with the rear panel. The coral velvet glass finish is intended to feel smooth while resisting fingerprints. The X300 features a 6.31-inch flat display and weighs 190g, while the X300 Pro has a 6.78-inch display in a 7.99 mm body.

The X300 is available in Phantom Black and Halo Pink. The X300 Pro is offered in Phantom Black and Dune Brown.

vivo has also introduced its first collaboration with CASETiFY. The partnership includes two X300 cases: the Clear Impact Case and a limited-edition design created with Chinese artist Zhou Riyang. The artist edition, named Play Together, reflects Zhou’s signature themes and includes magnetic compatibility and enhanced shock protection.

The X300 and X300 Pro will go on sale in Singapore from 22 November 2025 at S$1,299 and S$1,599 respectively for the 16GB+512GB configurations.
