XSQUARE Technologies and ACC partner to drive smart warehouse automation in Saudi Arabia

XSQUARE and ACC sign MoU to bring smart warehouse automation to Saudi Arabia, supporting logistics growth aligned with Vision 2030.

XSQUARE Technologies, a Singapore-based intelligent automation provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alkhorayef Commercial Company (ACC), a key player in Saudi Arabia’s commercial and industrial solutions space. The agreement, finalised at the Saudi Warehousing & Logistics Expo 2025, sets the groundwork for both companies to work together on deploying intelligent warehouse automation solutions across the Kingdom.

Joint approach to intralogistics innovation

The MoU outlines a shared objective to improve intralogistics operations through the combined strengths of XSQUARE’s next-generation autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and orchestration software, alongside ACC’s logistics footprint and market experience in Saudi Arabia.

By aligning their capabilities, the two companies aim to develop high-performance and scalable automation systems tailored for the Saudi market. The partnership will include market outreach campaigns and the rollout of customisable, end-to-end automation solutions at strategic logistics and industrial hubs throughout the country.

A key feature of the collaboration will be pilot projects and live demonstrations to showcase how AMRs can boost operational efficiency and reduce costs. These initiatives are designed to raise awareness among key stakeholders and promote wider adoption of automation within the logistics sector.

Supporting Vision 2030 with smart logistics

Fahad AlJaddan, CEO of Alkhorayef Commercial Company, said: “This partnership marks a significant step forward in our journey to shape the future of logistics in Saudi Arabia. By working with XSQUARE Technologies, we are bringing cutting-edge automation into our ecosystem and empowering our customers with solutions that are efficient, intelligent, and built for scale. We look forward to advancing Saudi Arabia’s logistics landscape in support of Vision 2030’s agenda.”

Under the agreement, ACC will utilise its extensive local network and operational knowledge to support XSQUARE’s market entry and deployment. This includes introducing AMR technologies to clients and offering commercial insights that help tailor offerings to the needs of Saudi businesses.

In return, XSQUARE will provide technical support and integration expertise, including training materials, product documentation, and development roadmaps. A dedicated team will assist with localisation efforts and ensure smooth implementation of pilot projects across key sites.

A strategic entry into the region

XSQUARE Technologies’ CEO, Jens Bohnwagner, stated: “Partnering with ACC will allow us to bring our proven automation technologies into a rapidly evolving market with immense potential. As a respected leader in the region’s logistics sector with deep market knowledge and operational excellence, ACC is an ideal partner in our journey. We see this collaboration as a powerful platform to demonstrate both the impact and adaptability of our warehouse automation solutions to the specific demands of Saudi Arabia and the region.”

The signing of the MoU underscores the long-term commitment from both companies to support the growth of Saudi Arabia’s logistics industry. It reflects a broader push to modernise and innovate in line with national objectives, with a focus on scalable technology and operational adaptability.
