YouTube announced a slew of AI-powered features aimed at helping creators at its recent Made on YouTube event. One significant tool is the Dream Screen, which provides an AI-generated green screen for creators on YouTube Shorts. This feature automatically replaces your video backgrounds based on input and is set for a broader rollout in 2024.

Additionally, YouTube Studio is set to introduce “insight recommendations,” a feature that will draft outlines and help creators conceptualise projects. Another feature introduced is AI-powered dubbing, which can translate a creator’s video into various languages.

Aiding creators in multiple ways

The new AI-powered tools are expected to make the lives of YouTube creators easier, providing them with more options to create quality content. Whether dubbing in multiple languages or selecting the perfect background tune, YouTube is investing in making its platform more creator-friendly. Their YouTube Create app is also in beta, focusing on mobile-based video production with features like editing, trimming, and automatic captioning.
