Zeekr launches the 8X SUV with hybrid power, three-motor performance, and an integrated AI-driven cabin and driving system.
Zeekr has launched the 8X, a high-performance flagship SUV built to sit alongside the Zeekr 9X in a dual-flagship lineup. The new model combines a hybrid powertrain with an integrated intelligence system, positioning it as a performance-focused five-seater within the brand’s luxury portfolio.

The Zeekr 8X is built on the SEA-S architecture and uses the Super Electric Power (SEP) Hybrid System. The platform combines a 900V high-voltage architecture, an all-wheel drive system, and what the company calls a Haohan AI Digital Chassis, aimed at delivering consistent performance and control across different driving conditions.
Hybrid performance anchored by three-motor setup
At the top end, the Zeekr 8X Flagship Edition uses a three-motor configuration that enables a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.96 seconds. Zeekr describes this as the fastest acceleration figure for a hybrid SUV.
The combination of high-voltage architecture and multi-motor drivetrain is intended to support both high-speed performance and stability across varying terrains. The vehicle is positioned as an all-scenario SUV, with emphasis on maintaining output and control across different speed ranges.
Cabin design prioritises space and in-car experience
As a five-seater, the Zeekr 8X is designed to balance performance with interior comfort. The cabin is described as offering MPV-like space, with seating and comfort features aimed at reducing the typical trade-off between performance-focused layouts and passenger comfort.
The vehicle includes a Naim audio system and references a one-touch seating experience inspired by lounge chair design. These elements position the model as a premium option that integrates high-performance driving with a more comfort-oriented cabin environment.
Integrated intelligence system connects driving and cabin functions
The Zeekr 8X is the first model from the brand to introduce a cabin-and-driving-integrated intelligence system. This system links vehicle control, driver assistance, and in-cabin functions into a single framework.
At the centre of this is the Super Eva voice assistant, built on a World Action Model. It acts as a unified control layer across systems including the G-ASD 4.0 driver-assistance system, chassis functions, and powertrain management. The integration is designed to enable coordinated control across different vehicle subsystems rather than treating them as separate functions.
Pricing spans multiple variants
The Zeekr 8X is offered across multiple variants priced between RMB 356,800 and RMB 426,800. The Flagship Edition is priced at RMB 500,800.
