ASUS has introduced the Zenbook 14 (UX3480) in Singapore with Intel and AMD processor options, Ceraluminum lids and OLED displays. The Intel-based UX3480AA is priced at S$3,499 and will be available from 16 October, while the AMD-based UX3480KA costs S$3,299 and is due to reach the ASUS Online Store at a later date.

ASUS describes both variants as Copilot+ PCs, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor in the UX3480AA and an AMD Ryzen AI 7 345 in the UX3480KA. Across both configurations, the hardware specification includes 24GB of LPDDR5X memory, a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, Wi-Fi 6E, support for up to Bluetooth 5.4, and an FHD infrared camera for Windows Hello.

Processor and display choices separate the two models

For the Intel Zenbook 14 UX3480AA, the Core Ultra 7 355 is paired with Intel graphics and a neural processing unit rated at up to 50 TOPS. Its 14-inch 16:10 OLED display features a 2880 x 1800 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 0.2ms response time, alongside 1,100-nit HDR peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. The panel is also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified, with touch available as an option.

The AMD Zenbook 14 UX3480KA pairs the Ryzen AI 7 345 with AMD Radeon graphics and an AMD XDNA NPU rated at up to 50 TOPS. Its 14-inch 16:10 OLED display operates at 1920 x 1200 resolution and 60Hz, with 300-nit brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and a 0.2ms response time. Touch is optional on this model as well.

Cooling has also been updated, with ASUS revising the thermal system to feature a larger fan, adjusted airflow and added dust protection. The company says the system supports up to a 35W TDP, 25% higher than the previous generation.

Both configurations use a 70Wh battery and come supplied with a 68W adapter. ASUS claims up to 29 hours of battery life for the Zenbook 14 and says its compact USB-C charger can also be used to power other everyday devices. With the battery included, the Singapore configurations weigh 1.3kg.

Display specifications further separate the two Singapore configurations. The Intel model carries the higher-resolution 3K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the AMD version uses a 1920 x 1200 panel at 60Hz.

Ceraluminum design and port selection

The Zenbook 14 is built around an all-metal chassis with a lid made from ASUS’ Ceraluminum material. ASUS describes the surface as ceramic-like and says it is engineered to resist scratches, smudges and everyday wear. Both processor variants are listed in Arctic Blue and Komodo Coral.

Shared hardware also includes dual multi-magnet speakers with Dolby Atmos certification, two built-in microphones and a precision touchpad. On the software and security side, ASUS lists Windows Studio Effects and Microsoft Pluton security among the features.

Port selection differs between the Intel and AMD versions. The UX3480AA includes one Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one micro HDMI 2.1 TMDS port and an audio combo jack. In contrast, the UX3480KA provides one USB 4 Gen 3 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one HDMI 2.1 TMDS port and an audio combo jack.

Eligible Zenbook 14 customers will receive three months of Google AI Pro at no extra cost through the MyASUS app. The plan includes expanded access to Google’s Gemini models, higher usage limits across Google AI tools and 5TB of cloud storage.

The Intel-based Zenbook 14 UX3480AA will be available from 16 October through the ASUS Online Store and authorised retailers across Singapore. The AMD-based UX3480KA will be offered through the ASUS Online Store at a later date.
