Belkin introduces first Qi2.2 chargers with 25W wireless charging speeds

Belkin launches its first Qi2.2-certified chargers, offering 25W wireless charging speeds with three models designed for both home and travel use.

Belkin has launched its first line of Qi2.2 wireless chargers, introducing three new devices designed to deliver faster 25W charging speeds. The announcement comes just a month after the company received certification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), confirming its compatibility with the latest Qi2.2 standard.

The flagship product in the new range is the Belkin UltraCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Charging Dock, priced at US$129.99. This multi-device wireless charging station is designed for permanent use on desks or bedside tables, combining style with practicality. It features a weighted base with a dedicated AirPods charging spot, a rear-mounted charger for Apple Watch, and an adjustable magnetic smartphone charger at the front.

The smartphone charging pad is the only one capable of delivering the full 25W speed to Qi2.2-compatible devices. Other devices will charge at a maximum of 15W. To ensure all three charging pads can operate simultaneously, Belkin includes a 45W USB-C power adapter in the package.

Travel-friendly foldable options

For users seeking portability, Belkin has introduced the UltraCharge 3-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger, available for US$99.99. This model offers similar features to the Pro dock but comes in a travel-friendly design that folds completely flat. When unfolded, its magnetic charging pad delivers 25W charging for supported smartphones, while a dedicated AirPods charger is integrated into its base. A compact Apple Watch charger also folds out from behind the Qi2.2 pad.

This charger also includes a 45W USB-C power adapter and will be available in two versions, one featuring a squared-off design and another with rounded corners. The foldable design makes it an attractive choice for those who want to maintain fast charging speeds while travelling.

Affordable two-in-one option

The most affordable accessory in the new series is the Belkin UltraCharge 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Charger, priced at US$59.99. This model closely resembles the 3-in-1 travel charger but omits the pop-up Apple Watch charger. Instead, it offers a 5W USB-C port on the base, enabling users to charge other smartwatch models via a wired connection.

Like the other chargers, the 2-in-1 model is also available in two distinct designs and includes a 45W USB-C adapter. Belkin’s new Qi2.2 line demonstrates the company’s commitment to offering fast, convenient charging solutions that cater to different budgets and lifestyles.

With these three devices, Belkin becomes one of the first major brands to introduce Qi2.2-certified chargers, marking a significant step forward in wireless charging technology. The range is expected to appeal to Apple users and others looking for reliable, high-speed wireless charging across multiple devices.
