Crunchyroll and HoYoverse team up for special Honkai: Star Rail collaboration

Crunchyroll and HoYoverse launch a global Honkai: Star Rail collaboration with exclusive rewards and fan art premieres on 6 November.

Crunchyroll has announced a global collaboration with HoYoverse, the interactive entertainment company behind Honkai: Star Rail. The partnership will bring together anime streaming and gaming experiences with exclusive rewards and events running from 6 November 2025 to 27 January 2026.

As part of the initiative, eligible Honkai: Star Rail players can link their game accounts to Crunchyroll to receive a free 14-day Mega Fan trial, offering access to Crunchyroll’s full anime catalogue. The event also coincides with the premiere of “Chimerric Park,” a special fan art programme under the HoYoFair 2025 series, which will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll for two weeks from 6 November.

Reward events and exclusive content

By linking their accounts, both new and existing Crunchyroll members can join themed missions within Honkai: Star Rail. These missions allow participants to earn in-game items such as Stellar Jades, Lost Crystals, and other limited-time rewards.

The collaboration will roll out across four rounds of quests and activities:

  • First round: 6 November, 6 PM to 25 November, 5:59 PM PT (7 November, 9 AM to 26 November, 8:59 AM SGT)
  • Second round: 25 November, 6 PM to 16 December, 5:59 PM PT (26 November, 9 AM to 17 December, 8:59 AM SGT)
  • Third round: 16 December, 6 PM to 6 January, 5:59 PM PT (17 December, 9 AM to 7 January, 8:59 AM SGT)
  • Fourth round: 6 January, 6 PM to 27 January, 5:59 PM PT (7 January, 9 AM to 28 January, 8:59 AM SGT)

According to Crunchyroll’s Executive Vice President of Emerging Business, Terry Li, the collaboration is designed to deepen engagement across gaming and streaming audiences. “We know that nearly 80% of anime fans play anime or anime-related games, and 40% of our audience are playing pop culture defining games like Honkai: Star Rail more than 20 hours a week,” said Li. “Delivering in-game rewards to Crunchyroll Members is our way of enhancing their gaming experiences and creating compelling moments to jump into titles that speak to our fans.”

A celebration of fandom

“Chimerric Park” highlights the creativity of the Honkai: Star Rail community, featuring commissioned fan art from creators around the world. The HoYoFair programme is a tribute to fans who contribute to the growing universe of HoYoverse titles, with Crunchyroll serving as the exclusive platform for this latest instalment.

The collaboration also coincides with the release of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7, titled “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday.” The update will introduce new content, including the anticipated five-star character Cyrene (Remembrance). Event participants can earn up to 120 Stellar Jades and other bonuses through limited-time quests.

Additional details about the event, offers, and missions will be available when the official event page and FAQ go live on 6 November.

The collaboration will be available worldwide except in China, Japan, Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Belarus, the Ukrainian regions of Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk, Iran, and Syria.
